One by one, everyone took their places in the living room. "Gwen, Garreth said you were a healer. Can you please teach me some healing and protection spells?" Sebastian asked cautiously.

"Would you like to listen too, Caelie?" she asked me. I nodded. Gwen explained the spells to us in fast forward. Sebastian was known to be a fast learner, so he understood the processes straight away. I didn't got it and just pretended to understand.

"And Mum, we managed to create a Patronus!" Garreth exclaimed proudly. "Really? Show!" said Hector.

"Expecto Patronum!" Garreth shouted and suddenly the little ermine was floating around again. "I know it's not terribly cool, but I kinda like it," Garreth said, slightly embarrassed. "My father's Patronus was also an ermine," Yvain said proudly, patting his son's shoulder with a smile.

"Show me yours then," Gwen said. Sebastian and I also summoned our Patronus figures. "What's that?" Jennie asked upon seeing Sebastian's Patronus. Sebastian was just about to answer when Yvain got ahead of him. "It's a quilin, half horse, half dragon. Chinese, if I remember correctly. Saw one of these at the Ministry once. Very cute. It stood in front of me and bowed like a hippogriff. Maybe it was raised by hippogriffs and thought it would be one," Yvain said.

"That means they have a pure heart. Quilines don't bow to everyone." Sebastian said smiling.

"You three can all be proud of yourselves. Really. You've already achieved a lot in the few days," Gwen said and smiled at us, "But you should still label the mailbox in case you should ever get muggle mail."

The Weasleys said their goodbyes slowly and flew back to their house.

The next few days passed pleasantly calm. Garreth and Sebastian are doing the final work in the basement, and I looked to see if I could find anything about Edvin or Fayette in Marlee's files. In the evenings Sebastian sometimes withdrew a bit and examined the relic, sometimes Garreth and Sebastian also played their instruments together. It was really nice and I wish it could have gone on forever, but the end of the holidays was near. Then we would have to sleep alone again, could hardly spend time as a threesome and only retreat to Marlee's house on the weekends. And even that would not always be worthwhile because the exams came closer.

Sebastian had already announced that he would do more research on the relic and the triptych and Garreth was running out of ingredients and had to invest more time in collecting. I didn't really have anything to do. Although, I knew in theory how to use my ability now, so it might be worth trying to work on the mastery. Also, we still had to figure out what the Weasleys' ability that the note was talking about. So even less time together.

It was now Friday afternoon when Sebastian and Garreth each took one of my hands and led me down to the basement.

The basement looked fascinating. On the walls and on the tables were numerous glowing crystals that illuminated the room in all colors of the rainbow. One table in particular was bright, which was probably where Garreth was preparing the ingredients. In front of this table was a small, rickety looking stool. Some plants were attached to the walls, which were supposed to climb along the walls later.

Three cauldrons were standing near a large stone pillar. Shelves and tables stood side by side along the walls. Countless recipe books, bottles, glasses and brewing instruments stood on it."Wow, this room is absolutely magical," I said, beaming at the two of them.

"But you haven't seen everything yet." Garreth smiled and pulled me through a small passage. This room was filled with plants. Each plant seemed to have its own little habitat. So it was raining on one plant while another let the sun shine on the leaves.

There were some small glass boxes in which were a few different insects and fungi. Here, too, it was daylight in some, while in others it seemed to be night. I was fascinated beyond measure."How did you guys do that?" I asked, still mesmerized by the aura of this room.

"I just let off steam. And my grandfather had developed the magic for the plants. I simply didn't have any space to put all the boxes and pots.", Garreth said and put a hand around me. I looked at him. He really looked proud.

"You did really well." I said enthusiastically.

"Thank you. I think to celebrate the day, the completion of the cellar and the approaching end of the holidays, we should treat ourselves to a glass of schnapps. What do you think?" Sebastian laughed. Without batting an eyelid, Garreth took three glasses from one of the shelves and a bottle and poured us all a large portion.
