what they do during your breakup--slipknot

a/n: slipknot dads again :)

shoutout to my ex for dumping me over text and indirectly inspiring this 

Sid Wilson--

-your dad acts a bit out of character when he finds out about your relationship's demise. He's suddenly angry towards your ex

-it takes a few conversations to coax it out of him that he didn't quite like the way your ex spoke to you, especially towards the end. 

-it pissed him off further that they broke it off with you over text

-regardless, he's there for you 

-he always offers to get you out of the house

-when you finally accept to go to breakfast with him, he's overjoyed and lifts you up when he hugs you (then gets a bit misty eyed that he can't do that as well since you got so big)

Joey Jordison--

-really understanding about what you're going through

-but he gets worried when it's been days and he's barely seen you

-he'll knock on your door and you'll reluctantly let him come in

-he'll sit on the edge of your bed and comfort you 

-"can you get up for me? It's been a while and I'm worried about you."

-"..."

-"please? It's been weeks since you last put on eyeliner. I've missed you."

-it takes a bit more encouragement from your dad, but he helps you put together an outfit so he can take you to a record store and then a CVS. a new vinyl and eyeliner cure everything, after all

Paul Gray--

-you didn't tell him for about a week, and were able to keep your pain under wraps for a bit until one late night spent listening to music and talking in the kitchen where you let it slip that you now had an ex

-interesting...but, you've only had one relationship in your life that your dad knew of. maybe this is some unknown lor...no. You broke up.

-Paul wasn't all too pleased with your ex. He thought they weren't as nice as they should have been to you, among other things

-even though this was a bit of a victory for him, it still destroyed him to see how crushed you are

-he gives you one of his bear hugs and lets you know that breakups are a lot to handle, and he's got your back through all of it

Chris Fehn--

-he'll be sad with you

-he'll also treat you a bit like you're sick, y'know bringing comfort foods, making you tea, letting you rest as much as you need

-bad action movies always helped him through breakups, so he offers to watch them with you

-to your surprise, they help

-your dad says it's because of all the hot men

-you say it's not because of that, but you also have yet to provide an adequate piece of evidence to prove it's not
