Day 3

It's now morning the sarge let us have a lie 05.30 lucky us, he found that quite funny. The sarge he's a good bloke he thinks he's funny we have to laugh or we are giving press-ups. But we would follow him to any war he looks after us in terms of Sargents we definitely got one of the best we are hoping soon he becomes our captain. Anyways look at me rambling on I get up and do my usual on a morning brush my teeth tie my hair up in a bun then get ready. As I walk into the lounge area I see someone sat on the sofa. "Leah?" "Oh good morning Chris" "what you doing up this early?" "Couldn't sleep" "is everything alright?" "Yeah" "I don't think I believe you" "well that's on you isn't it Chris" "sorry I was just joking trying to see if I could get you to smile. I will see you downstairs" I turn to leave "wait!" "Yeah?" "Can I come down with you" "of course." Me and Leah walk down to the canteen in silence I really want to find out what's wrong so I can try and help her but I'm sure she doesn't even like me so why would she open up to me. I end up letting out a little sigh "sorry is me walking down with you a bother?" I look at Leah "what of course not" "your sigh says different" "oh no I was sighing at my own thoughts I find myself lost in them a lot of the time." We continue the rest of the way in silence Leah gets a drink and sits at a table by herself. When I get to my table I look at Leah "I'll catch you guys later" "wait Chris where you going?" "There is clearly something on her mind" I look over at Leah "Chris you know we can't get involved" "yes I know Georgie but what if it has something to do with why we are here?" "Oooo can't tell you that it's classified" "oh right sorry" you let out a small laugh "Leah I'm joking we will just be updated on any developments if there is any and they will find out if we have found any information out" "and have you?" "What found out any information?" Leah nods "me no not yet but I'm still looking into things" "Chris?" "Yes Leah?" Thank you for pulling me out of my head" "no problem. Right I need to head to this briefing you wait here for me then I will come and get you and I will keep you company pitchside" "you don't have to. Actually would it be alright if I go to the room and watch movies?" "Let me think on that see if I can come up with a plan for you alright?" "Ok thank you." I get up and as I turn to face the door there is the rest of my group "good morning ladies" "good morning Chris" "what a surprise to see yous two together Leah" "fuck off Jordan why do you have to comment on everything I do. You have no say on who I sit with or talk to or even date you broke up with me remember so you have no right to be angry with anything I do!" Leah goes back to having her head in her hands I can't leave her here not like this. "Leah come with me please I need to get that information off you" she looks at me confused so I just raise my eyebrows to say play along "oh right yeah ok." We both leave the canteen "I'm going to sit you in the room outside of the briefing room then I will take you up to the apartment so you can have your movie day. I'm also going to get Jordan moved to a different apartment I can't deal with this constant fighting yous have got me on edge" you let out a small laugh "thank you Chris so I'm guessing you have a plan?" "Hmmm maybe I do." We head to the briefing room which is basically the Arsenal meeting room but there is a room next to us where I have hid Leah with strict instructions not to answer the door until I come and get her. God I could never forgive myself if anything happened to her I mean any of them. Jesus Chris what has gotten into you? Your constantly staring at her like you actually stand a chance! "CHRIS!" The sarge sighs "fine but you go with her and stay with her and it happens tonight but then no more after that" "understood boss." I run to the room where Leah is and knock on the door "Leah it's me open up" she opens the door "so do you want the good news or the best news?" "Ooo good news first ok good news you have the day to yourself I will take you up to the apartment now where you will lock the door and I'm talking chain and everything. You will take my number so if anything happens you call me straight away understood?" "Yes of course I do" "ok so I'm taking you to see your family tonight I do have to stay with you the entire time and it is just for a few hours that's all I could wangle." Leah jumps in my arms hugging me "thank you so much your the best" god she smells so good. Right ok creep calm down "it was nothing" Leah pulls back and looks me in the eyes "no it was everything" shit calm your breathing Chris why is it changing so much? God I want to kiss her right now. "Not really I need you to swap Jordan's apartment she is causing too many arguments and friction it is making it difficult to protect them" "yes I noticed the fighting recently but did not know what the cause was but ok I will put her with Kim" "thanks Jonas." I know what yous might be thinking I only got Jonas to swap rooms because I fancy Leah. Wait I fancy Leah? Oh who am I trying to kid of course I do I mean just look at her and she has a cracking personality really funny. God I get to distracted when it comes to that women. What was I saying again? Oh yes getting Jordan moved I promise it has nothing to do with my crush and everything to do with keeping everyone safe and for my own sanity.
