Christmas and new year

It's Christmas Eve and I'm staying at the apartment tonight. Now when I say I took me hours to convince my mum to let me stay here I'm not joking but we are having dinner at the spicers tomorrow and there is going to be 21 people there. Who the hell has 21 people over for dinner? Jeremy and Gloria that's who. Plussss I'm picking up Leah's Christmas present I payed for it before she left and there is no refunds. Once I pick it up I go home and just spend the night watching movies.

The next morning I wake up to a phone call from my mum "good morning mum" "good morning Chris are you still in bed?" I look at the clock "seeing at it is only 7.15 yes I am" "sweetheart you need to get a move on Jeremy, Gloria, Kat and Freya want to see us before everyone else arrives and it's a 2 hour drive there" I yawn "ok ok I'm getting up I will see you there" "see you there Chris." Awwww man I just want to sleep some more!

~Leah's POV~
I'm woke up by my mum at my door holding my stocking like every Christmas morning. But this time I just turn over this should of been my first Christmas with Chris "pumpkin please come open your stocking." I sit up and wipe the tears from my eyes before opening my stocking "they are great thanks mum" "come downstairs for your presents please." I get up and go downstairs I give out my presents to my family then open mine. We are all sat around talking for a while "I think I have just seen someone come up the path" "nonsense Leah we aren't expecting anyone yet" there is a knock on the door "told you" I get up and go answer the door I see someone with a hood up walking away then I look down at this colourful box with a note on top so I pick it and read it.

I got your Christmas present before we broke up and there is no returns on this. Hope you like it.

I quickly look up and see Chris' car driving away. "Who was it sweetie?" "Chris" I take the lid off the box and pull out this beautiful chocolate brown spaniel puppy "mum" "Leah she is gorgeous what did Chris say?" "She wasn't here she was walking away but she left this note on the  box" I hand my mum the note and take the puppy inside. As the day goes on everyone is getting tipsy whereas I'm just cuddled up with Bella that's what I decided to call her. As everyone starts going home and settling down for the night I decide to try and text Chris

Me - I know I'm probably still blocked but thought I would try anyways. I have started this so many times but now I think I will just speak from the heart. I wish you had stayed at the door so I could have seen you this morning. I miss you so much I should never of believed Jordan and I am so sorry for everything I have put you through. I decided to name the puppy Bella she is gorgeous thank you so much for her. Chris I want you to know I think about you everyday all day every day. I woke up this morning thinking about what we would have been doing today and the laughs we would have had if I hadn't of been so stupid. I hope you're having the best day. Merry Christmas xx

~Chris' POV~
Today has been a god damn whirlwind I'm so socially tired right now so the spicers are letting me have some time on my own. Kat was nice and offered her room to me but I politely declined when she asked why I said I would rather not lie on a bed her and Freya were having sex in. That earned a bash on my chest and then she told me to go to the spare room. So that's what I did I came up to the spare room and currently just lying on the bed. Everyone keeps coming up to check on me but now I think I have huffed them because I asked Kieth to tell them to stop coming up the whole point of having a rest is so I can rest. I receive a text from Leah I unblocked her number the day Steph came to see me but never messaged her. As I read the message I tear up I miss her so much. I sit there and think of a reply

Me - Hi Leah I couldn't stay this morning and we both know why. I don't want to talk about Jordan sorry Leah but she ruined me she ruined us. I like the name Bella it really suits her I picked her up yesterday and she spent the night cuddled up to me she is so loving and everything you deserve. I miss you too Leah so very much I have also spent the day wondering what we would have been up to. I hope your day has been amazing. Merry Christmas
