I wake up late in the afternoon again to many missed calls from my mum so I phone her "hi mum I have many missed calls again" "ok yes I was worried your not at work then not answering your phone" "yeah I lost track of time last night and didn't leave work until 4am and just woke up" "bloody hell what were you doing?" "Oh you know booking courses, writing new contracts and everything like that" "you were busy yesterday" "I was so what were you calling for?" "In a hurry for something?" "No just still in bed I have just woke up" "oh right can you come over tonight?" "Yeah what's up?" "Nothing just me and Kieth have some news" "you're not pregnant are you? I like being an only child" "no I'm not pregnant" "ok then what time?" "Is 6 ok?" "Perfect see you then." I decide I'm not getting up yet because I did set an alarm to feed and walk Bella but I think she is just as tired as me because she is flaked out. I decide to put the tv on I'm not doing any work today. Bella comes to the top of the bed "hi baby girl I kept you up late last night I'm sorry so let's just have a lazy day" I put Netflix on and find a series called shadow hunters I'm quite enjoying it. "Bella do you smell gas?" I get up and start smelling about but it goes "I'm going to have to phone someone." I phone a plumber to come out and they are out within the hour. He checks the boiler, the cooker and anywhere else there could be a possible gas leak "I'm not finding any leak at all and the pressure on the boiler is spot on. Usually if there is a leak the pressure would drop" "maybe it came from outside from a fire pit or something like that but thanks for coming out" "no bother at all if you continue to have issues please don't hesitate to phone." I see him out then decide to have a shower and get ready. "What we going to do now Bella? No? No answer well you're helpful and I'm losing my mind because I'm talking to a dog like she can answer back... Oooo I know should we go see nana?" I text Amanda

Me - Hi Amanda are you at home? X
Amanda - Yeah x
Me - Is it alright if I pop over? X
Amanda - Of course is everything aright? X
Me - Yeah just me and Bella are sat in the house bored so thought I would bring her to see you x
Amanda - I would love for yous to come over x

"Come on Bella let's go see nana." I get Bella in the car and drive to Amanda's as soon as I let Bella out of the car she runs to the door barking "alright miss impatient give me a second." Amanda opens the door and Bella jumps all over her "hi Amanda" "hi sweetheart come in" "thank you." We go straight through to the back garden because Bella loves to run around she has so much space to do so. "Would you like a drink?" "Yes please can I have some juice please?" "Of course I will be right back." Amanda goes and gets me a drink whilst I play with Bella "you two seem to be joined at the hip" "I love her honestly she has such a cracking personality on her, so cheeky definitely takes after Leah" "that's true, how's the wrist?" "Healing but this cast is itchy as anything" "and the gym how's that going?" "Amazing just took on a load of new staff, booked some training courses and got wrong off Leah because I lost track of time and was there until 4am" "how does she know you were there until 4am?" "She didn't know what time it was and FaceTimed me" "she FaceTimed you at 4am" "well she didn't know what time it was so I will let her off there" "you seem to do that a lot, let her off with things" "I love her, them photo's didn't look good I know that but Jordan manipulated them I don't blame Leah for thinking that I cheated" "your definitely the best person for my daughter when you going to marry her?" I have to laugh "bloody hell Amanda" "what?" "Give me a chance Jesus the concept of family scared the hell out of me until I met Leah" "and now?" "Now I look forward to nothing more" "should I book the venue" I laugh again "no we haven't even been together a year yet" "hmmmm are yous back to living together?" "No I'm just staying at Leah's whilst she is away" "what do you have planned for tonight?" After 45 minutes I head home to feed Bella. Honestly I would feel lost without this dog right now. After she finishes eating I take her for a walk before going to my mums.

I walk in "hi everyone, what's going on? Why is everyone here?" "Sit down and you will find out" "hold on Bella is nervous she has never been here before, Bella come." Bella slowly creeps in sitting beside me "and why is Bella here?" "Because we are a team aren't we Bella, yes we are" "Bella come" she runs over to Freya "wow you traitor." Bella jumps up on Freya's knees and cuddles in "so mum, what's going on?" "Before we start is there any chance we could get Leah on the phone" I look at Kieth highly confused "well it's 10am in Seattle so she will definitely be up it's just wether she is at training or not" I FaceTime Leah "hi baby everything alright?" "Hi baby yeah everything's fine except Bella ditching me for Freya, but I'm at my mums and they have called a meeting and asked if you have time to be a part of it?" "Yeah training doesn't start for another half an hour so" "ok so as yous know me and Diane are engaged but we have booked the wedding for next month" "next month? Jesus" "no it's non religious" I laugh "you smart arse" "well I was hoping that Kat Freya Emily and Leah would be my bridesmaids" I can't help but smile they all say yes "and Chris I want you to walk me down the isle" "I would love nothing more than to give you away" "oh your such a sarcastic witch aren't you" "mum it would be an honour" "I've seen a dress that I think will suit you all" "I'm not wearing a fucking dress" everyone laughs "I'm not expecting you to wear a fucking dress Chris but I would like your suit to match Kieth's" "hmmm ok but I'm not wearing a clown suit" "deal, when are you back Leah?" "I'm back in 5 days" "brilliant we will go dress shopping then" "I can't wait Diane thank you, but I need to get ready for training I will ring you later Chris" "ok I will speak to later I love you" "love you too." We hang up "thank you mum" "well Kieth made me realise that Leah is a big part of your life and if I didn't want to lose you I had to accept that, and also if it wasn't for Leah and Emily I wouldn't have you back in my life" "well in that case thank you dad" everyone just looks at me "what are you all staring at? Other than my devilishly good looks" "dad?" "Yes Emily dad I have adopted Kieth as my dad anyone got a problem with that?" "Of course Kat as away but if the question is, is Chris a pain in the arse the answer is yes" "that's so rude come on Bella let's get you a drink" I go into the kitchen and get us all a drink before going back into the sitting room "thank you Emily I will let Kirsty know Chris now I need to ask you" "ask away" "would you come into the school for career day and talk to my A level and year 11 class?" "Me? Go into a school?" "Yes it would just be to talk about what you have done career wise, it would be a big help." We are all sat around watching a movie when my head starts feeling a little funny. I must totally zone out because when I come back Emily and Kat are in front of me "Chris are you alright?" "Yeah why?" "Well you were staring into a space blinking really fast muttering away" "pass but I feel fine" "that's alright then" "Kieth's going to be back with the tea soon" "oh he should of said I'd of went with him" "he did but you have been zoned out for a good 10 minutes" "that is strange it's probably because I'm a little tired I didn't get out of the gym until 4am" "yeah probably." Kieth comes in "hey kid you alright?" "Yeah all good" "that's what I like to hear." After eating I decide to go home to have an early night. I am lying in bed watching shadow hunters when Leah phones "hi my love" "hi baby back home I see" "yeah decided to have a slightly early night. How Seattle?" "It's amazing we are going on an adventure tomorrow" "sounds fun" "what you doing tomorrow?" "I have therapy" "don't forget to tell them what happened last week" "I won't baby don't worry, I miss you" "I miss you too Chris I hope your not just isolating yourself" "no I have been to see your mum. I also got a plumber to come out because I smelt gas again but he couldn't find a leak" "it's good he didn't find a leak, why did you go see my mum?" "I took Bella to see her" "ahhh right bet she went right hyper" "she did but then your mum started talking about booking wedding venues for us" "what?"
