Watching as M/N was straightening his haori I walk over handing him his sword as he gives me a smile "what's on your mind Shinobu?" "How come your sword is different from everyone's else?" "I'll let you figure it out after all your a smart girl right?" "Yeah!" "Then tell me when I get back alright" I nodded watching as he left until my older sister told me it was time for bed "I wanna be just like him" "what about me?" "He's much cooler" "is that so I feel a little offended" "well you're beautiful when you fight" "ok can take that"
Days turned into months past since the day he was meant to be back making me worry as I keep staring outside wishing he would walk up the path but I didn't happen. During one night I heard clicking on the window waking me up, thinking it was his crow I got up but before I could pull the curtains back in was picked up and in a different room before I knew it. Looking up to see M/N covered in blood, scars all over his body "M/N?" "Hide for me alright" "but, let me handle this" I nodded letting him take me to the place I normally hide before he closes it he hands me something, a butterfly hair clip "what's this?" "I got it in the town I was in I hope you like it, keep it safe" I nodded as he smiled closing the door placing the mat over it.
However I still could hear everything him fighting the demon, luckily big Sister was out but he needed help. Suddenly it went quiet making me wait a bit before climbing up. I look around for M/N but find a blood trial leading outside. Putting my boots on I walk out looking around until I find his body laying in the snow his blood turning the snow white "M/N!!" Sitting next to him as he looked at me with a smile "Shinobu. I'm so glad you're not hurt" "you need help!"
"Listen to me Shinobu, I want you to promise me you'll stay safe and happy no matter what" "not without you please M/N don't leave me here" "I'm sorry Shinobu, but I'll always be watching you grow and i know no matter what you'll make me proud." Laying in the same position as M/N years ago I smile as I look to my right seeing both my sister and M/N I could finally be with them knowing my job was done I could finally rest. "I'm coming home, I hope I did everything right for you both and thank you for being with me all the way."
