A week has passed, and although the mourning still hangs over the Kim Mansion like a dark cloud, things have started to calm down now that they have all accepted the truth and moved on with the memories that person gave them.

Most of the extended family went back to their homes as the days went by so that the grieving family could be alone. The newborn is healthy and always cuddles up to Jimin's chest, knowing only he has the treat for her. As a result, Soo began to alternate between her momma and the bottle.

At the same time, Jungkook found himself incredibly preoccupied with taking care of the other two children and the other numerous household tasks. The fact that they have a maid does not stop Jungkook from constantly checking in on things.

Since Seojoon has not fully recovered from the shock, Taehyung started to focus on both his studio and Seojoon's real estate company. Yoongi goes to the hospital as usual and then helps his father with his retail business. Mrs Kim has yet to recover completely from the shock. And in between these days, the youngest Kim was shifted to home from the hospital.

It was the day, Jennie's family decided to leave Kim Mansion. From the morning, her mother was wailing non stop causing everyone distress and pain. But what caused them panic was her mother taking the new born along with her.

As dusk approached, she stormed into Jimin's bedroom. Jimin was cleaning the room, and Jungkook was tying Mia's hair at that time. They were therefore taken aback by the interloper, but they became alarmed upon witnessing her taking the baby from the cradle and asking her daughter-in-law to carry Jae. She took Mia's hand in hers and led the way out of the room and into the hallway. Jungkook and Jimin wasted no time in rushing behind her in panic.

"Aunty. See. Please don't take her. She will be safe here." Jimin said, dashing behind her along with Jungkook. "Aunty. Please listen, they are our babies as well. Even if Nuna is not present, we still have our responsibilities to them. They are our babies as well." Jungkook said, reaching out his hand to hold Mia's hand. "They are m..my Jennie baby's kids. They should g..grow up t..there in our home." She said in between her cries. "Then. Then what about hyung? Aren't they Seojoon hyung's as well?" Jungkook asked and the lady stopped in mid step and turned to give him a glare.

"Don't talk about him. He.. He is the reason for my baby's hard time." She said in a void voice. Jungkook and Jimin shared a concerned look with each other. "Don't say that aunty. No-one.. No-one has forced Nuna for anything here." Jimin said. "You can say that, because loss is our. Ain't.. Ain't two kids enough for him? Then, why did he need a third one?" she asked. "Mom please. Stop." Jennie's sister-in-law pleaded by holding her hand.

"It was their choice aunty. They both decided it. And.. And why don't you think it's only your loss? Didn't this house lose a daughter-in-law? And you.. You are cursing hyung, because Nuna is not here. What if Nuna has made it through the end? Will you talk like this? No, right." Jungkook  said with a determined voice. "Ah. Who are you to speak? Ah? How will you know it when you haven't given birth to one?" She asked, staring at him. "Mom. No. What on earth are you even saying?" the sister-in-law said after seeing how Jungkook went pale.

Jimin took a deep breath, turned to face Jungkook, and gently caressed his shoulder. "Hm. To.. To.. Know that, I don't have to g..give birth, aunty. To.. To love these kids, the..they don't have to come from m..my womb." Jungkook said in between his hiccups with tears brimmed eyes. She merely gave him a glare as she hurried to get the kids into the living room without saying anything.

She quickly grabbed her bag and was about to leave while holding the newborn when she heard that loud voice from behind. "Where do you intend to take them, Somi?" Jennie's mother stopped before exiting the door and turned to face that person, who was standing near the dining hall.
