   you attempted to run into the house to open the letter, but it really looked more like a speed waddle.

usually when you're in a rush, your brain doesn't function properly, so you were checking in the oddest places for that letter.

under the couch, in the cabinet, in the lampshade, and you were about to try and check the roof but jin stopped you.

"it was on the counter.", he rolled his eyes and handed it to you.

"oh. thanks.", you laughed embarrassed.

he nodded and left the room so you could be on your own.

you took a deep breath and ripped apart the envelope.
