Best Friends Love One Another

This is a Pyrrha x Best Friend Male Reader requested by Brave_Vesperia.

(Y/N)'s POV

Another day of sitting in my dorm reading my book. My team had plans of their own so I opted to just stay here and read. I was reaching the climax of the book, but was interrupted by a knock to my door. I aggervatingly placed my marker back in the book and closed it. I got out of bed and answered it. Pyrrha stood in front of me and she seemed upset.

(Y/N): "Hey Pyrrha. Is everything alright?" She stood there silent for a few moments.

Pyrrha: "Can I come in for a while (Y/N)?" I nodded and she walked in. She sat down on my bed and I sat next to her. She pushed herself into my chest and began to cry. I held her tightly and stroked her hair gently. This wasn't an uncommon thing.

When she was upset, angry, mad, or was just having a bad day she would always come to me and talk about it. I would do it not only because she was my best friend, but because I loved her. It was to bad she was dating Jaune or else I would have asked her out. She finally calmed down after a couple minutes.

(Y/N): "What's the matter Pyrrha?" She looked so defeated.

Pyrrha: "It's Jaune." She chocked out.

(Y/N): "What about him?" I could feel my blood starting to boil..

Pyrrha: "He cheated on me!!" She broke down again and sobbed into my chest. I held her close and comforted her as best as I could. She calmed down once again after a few moments. "Was I such a horrible person that he would cheat on me?" She said sadly.

(Y/N): "No, no Pyrrha. You're an amazing person. You have a beautiful smile, a wonderful personality, a caring and loving heart, and the best person I have ever met. Why Jaune would cheat on you is beyond me? Personally, I believe he lost out on something wonderful. He probably lost out on the best thing in his life. He didn't deserve you Pyrrha. You were to good for him." She looked up at me smiling.

Pyrrha: "Thank you (Y/N). That means a lot coming from you." She let go of me and dried her eyes.

(Y/N): "Anything for you Pyrrha." I ruffled her hair a little and she smiled brighter. "Come on, let's go to the ice cream shop in Vale." She nodded and we exited my dorm.

Timeskip - Ice Cream Shop

Pyrrha and I walked up to the counter and met the store owner Neo. She couldn't speak, but she could write fast so it worked out.

Neo: "Hello (Y/N) and Pyrrha." She wrote.

(Y/N): "Hey Neo." I responded.

Pyrrha: "Hello." She chimed.

Neo: "The usual?" She wrote with a smile.

(Y/N): "Yes please." She went to the back and fixed out ice cream. She returned with a Strawberry Cone for Pyrrha and a (F/I) cone for me. I tried to pay, but Now shook her head.

Neo: "On the house today." She wrote with a smile.

(Y/N): "Thank you Neo. That's sweet of you." Pyrrha and I sat down at a table and began eating ice cream. I took a bite out of my ice cream and felt something cold hit my nose. Pyrrha snickered and I looked at my nose to see some Strawberry ice cream. I took a bit of mine and flicked it at her nose. It landed and we chuckled happily

We finish our ice cream and waved goodbye to Neo. It was still early so we went walk in the park. We walked for a while until Pyrrha stopped dead in her tracks.

(Y/N): "Are you okay Pyrrha?" A tear ran down her eye. I looked towards what she saw and my blood boiled to a point. Jaune was with the girl he had cheated on with Pyrrha. They were walking arm in arm. I completely lost it and marched towards them.  Jaune waved when he noticed me.

Jaune: "Hey (Y/N) what's goi-" I cut if off with a swift punch that sent it to the ground l. He got up and rubbed his cheek. "What the hell man?!?!?" He yelled.

(Y/N): "You know what the hell you did!!!" I grabbed his shirt collar and lifted him up. "You broke Pyrrha's heart you piece of shit!!! You had to go and cheat on her didn't you?!?!? She was the perfect girl and what did you do?!? You betrayed her trust and went behind her back. You are worse than scum." I cocked my fist back and tried to punch him, but I couldn't move it. I looked back to see Pyrrha holding my hand.

Pyrrha: "That's enough (Y/N)." She pleaded.

(Y/N): "Why shouldn't I beat him to a pulp Pyrrha? He broke your heart and betrayed you. For that he has to suffer." He tried my best to pull my hand from her, but I couldn't.

Pyrrha: "It's because he isn't worth it." I finally calmed down and dropped Jaune. I looked at him with a death glare.

(Y/N): "Pyrrha is no longer a part of your team and is moving into my team's dorm. If I ever see you trying to ask her out again or if I see you trying to make a move on her I will end you!!! Do you understand me?!?!" He nodded fearfully and we continued our walk. Pyrrha never let go of my hand and intertwined our fingers.

Pyrrha: "Thank you." She said.

(Y/N): "For what?" I asked her.

Pyrrha: "For everything. For comforting me, for making feel better, and for stand up for me." We stopped on the spot and face each other. I stared into her beautiful emerald eyes and brought my face closer to hers.

(Y/N): "Anything for the girl I love." Our lips connected and we embraced one another. I wrapped my arms around her waist and she wrapped her arms around my neck. We pulled away and smiled at each other. She latched onto my arm happy that she found love in her best friend.
