This is a Freelancer Male Reader x Ruby requested by RWBYlovernumber1. I tried my best to learn Red v Blue since I haven't watched much of it so if it dosen't make sense please don't shoot me. Also sorry it took so long to make. Your request was near the bottom.

(Y/N)'s POV

The warthog zoomed through the forest as I stood on the gunner ready to fire if need be.

Grif: "Are we there yet?" He asked bored.

Simmons: "No." He said in response.

Grif: "Are we there now?" He asked.

Simmons: "No!" He said a little louder.

Grif: "Are you sure we aren't there yet?" He asked again.

(Y/N): "Grif if you don't shut up and stop aggervating our driver I will shot you with this turrent." I said aggervated as I disengaged the safety.

Gri: "I dare you." He said as I got the barrel to start spinning and pointed it at him. He put his hands up as I stopped the rotating barrel.

Simmons: "You should know by now that (Y/N) doesn't make idle threats Grif." He said.

Grif: "Fine whatever I'll shut up." He said crossing his arms. Simmons and I just laughed at him.

(Y/N): "So what's the ETA Simmons?" I asked.

Simmons: "We should arrive at the base in 30 minutes as long as we don't run into any-" He said as the warthog rammed into something which caused us to fly out and hit the ground. We looked up to see a Flood Juggernaut standing in front of the warthog. "Flood." He said with a groan as we all got to our feet.

Grif: "You just had to open your big ass mouth." He said while taking out his rifle.

Simmons: "And you had to exist." He responded while pulling out two pistols.

(Y/N): "Just shut up and take this son of a bitch down!!" I commanded as my energy sword materialized in my hand. I jumped as one of the monsters tendrils swept at us.

Grif: "Ahhh!!" He screamed as I turned to see him fly backwards into a tree. After a minute he came to his senses and began to stand up. "Oh, I am so going Hercules on your ass!!" He shouted as he holstered his rifle and materialized his energy sword. He charged passed Simmons and I as we watched. Grif jumped into the air for an attack, but was swatted into the forest by a tendril. Simmons and I groaned.

Simmons: "Why do we keep that idiot?" He asked.

(Y/N): "Cause he's our idiot and no one else could handle him." I said which caused us to both chuckle.

Simmons: "Formation Delta?" He asked as I nodded. I rushed forward with blazing speed and dodged any tendrils that tried to catch me. The beast turned around to stare at me only for a moment before Simmons unleashed a flurry of bullets causing it to turn around. I took this chance to rush forward and slice off its left tendril. The monster howled in pain as it did a large swipe with the remaining limb. We both jumped over it and Simmons landed next to me.

(Y/N): "Son of a bitch is tough." I said as Simmons holstered his pistols and materialized his energy sword.

Simmons: "Let's go with Formation Salvo." He said as I nodded in agreement. We rushed forward and began to slice the beast as it tried its best to kill us. Simmons stabbed his weapon in the beasts chest and left a sizable hole. An idea popped into my head as I pulled a frag from my belt.

(Y/N): "Eat this mother fucker!!" I yelled as I pulled the pin and shoved it into the wound Simmons created. We both jumped far away as the frag exploded causing the Juggernaut to die. We both let out sighs as our energy weapons vanished.
