A Raven Meets A Mute

This is a Shy Mute Male Reader x Raven requested by Brave_Vesperia.

Raven's POV

As my team and I made our way into the elevator Qrow pressed the button on the top and the elevator began to move.
Summer: "I wonder what Professor Ozpin wants to talk to us about?" She asked.
Tai: "Beats me." He said shrugging his shoulders. The elevator then came to a slow stop and the doors opened. As we walked out of the elevator Professor Ozpin looked up from his screen and smiled. He then got out of his chair and stood in front of his desk.
Ozpin: "Hello Team STRQ." He said in a greeting tone.
STRQ: "Hello Professor." We all said in unison.
Qrow: "So why were we called here?" He asked rudely as I then smacked him upside the head. He recoiled for a second and then began to rub the spot I smacked him on.
Ozpin: "I am adding a new member to your team." He said which shocked everyone.
Summer: "Really!?!?" She said excitedly as the Professor nodded.
Tai: "When do we meet him?" He asked.
Ozpin: "Right now actually." He said which confused us.
Raven: "But sir there is no one here." I said as he shook his head.
Ozpin: "He is rather shy." He said. "(Y/N) could you please come out from behind my chair." He said as I saw his chair move a little. After a few seconds something ran out from behind his chair and raced behind the Professor. "Now (Y/N) there is nothing to be shy about. These are your new Teammates. Shouldn't you introduce yourself." He said. After a minute a boy walked out from behind the Professor. He had (e/c) eyes and (h/l) (h/c) hair. He also wore a (f/c) shirt with blue jeans and a (f/c) hoodie. He then put up his hand and timidly waved at us.
Qrow: "What's the matter pipsqueak cat got you tongue?" He asked as (Y/N) then retreated back behind the Professor. I then cocked my fist back and punched Qrow in the face hard enough to send him to the ground.
Raven: "Be nice you idiot." I said as I looked back to the Professor to see that (Y/N) had his head poked out. I then waved at him with a smile and he timidly did the same.
Ozpin: "That quote actually leads me to another thing about (Y/N)." He said as we looked at him confused again. "(Y/N) is also a mute." He said which made me go wide eyed.
Qrow: "If he can't talk then how is he supp-" he tried to say until I kicked him in the junk. Qrow then placed his hands between his legs and groaned in pain.
Raven: "Sorry about my brother (Y/N) he's a special kind of idiot." I said as I saw (Y/N) chuckle a little.
Ozpin: "Well even though (Y/N) here is mute he can write and type extremely fast so he can just use his scroll to communicate with you all." He said as we nodded.
Tai: "But what about battling Professor? Can he fight?" He asked as the Professor nodded.
Ozpin: "He didn't get into Beacon early on just wits alone." He said which shocked all of us even further.
Summer: "He was accepted into Beacon early?!?" She said a little loudly which cause (Y/N) to hide a little bit farther behind Ozpin. "That is so awesome!!" She said. This caused (Y/N) to poke his head out further. I also noticed he had a little blush as well.
Ozpin: "Well with introductions out of the way it's time you all returned to your dorm and try to get to know one another." He said as we all nodded. I then slowly moved towards Professor Ozpin which caused (Y/N) to fully retreat behind him again.
Raven: "Hi (Y/N) I'm Raven Branwen." I said as I waited a little. He then took a step out from behind the Professor and slightly extended his hand with his scroll out. I then slowly took it and looked at it.
(Y/N)'s Scroll: "I-I'm (Y/N) (L/N) n-nice to meet y-y-you." It said as I read it. I then handed the scroll back to him as he then gave me a slight smile.
Raven: "Well come on." I said extending my hand. "Let's go talk with everyone else." I said. At first (Y/N) seemed to be scared to take my hand but after a deep breath he took my hand. I then turned and we slowly began to walked back to my team. We then stopped in front of Tai and Summer.
Tai: "I'm Tai Yang Xiao Long." He said with a wave.
Summer: "I'm Summer Rose." She said with a warm smile.
Raven: "And the idiot on the ground in pain is my brother Qrow Branwen." I said as (Y/N) nodded slightly. "Well we should head back to the dorm it must be getting late." I said as I then looked at Qrow on the ground. "I guess come back when you can move." I said as I saw (Y/N) chuckle slightly again. We then made our way into the elevator and watched as Qrow and the Professor disappeared behind the door.  I then thought to myself of how this is gonna be interesting having a mute teammate.

Timeskip - 2 Weeks

(Y/N)'s POV

As I sat under the tree in the courtyard I let the wind blow against my skin as I remembered my time here in the past 2 weeks. I had been personally invited by Professor Ozpin to attend Beacon Academy, I had been placed on a team that welcomed me with open arms, and I met Raven Branwen. There was something about her that I just couldn't get over. On the outside she may seem cold and strict but on the inside there was more to her. She was a wonderful woman. She was so kind, she was gentle, she was caring, and she accepted people and all of there faults. As time went on I grew to be comfortable around her and slowly began to open up to her and as we talked more and more I began to grow feelings for this woman. I was then pulled from my thoughts by the sound of crunching grass. I then rushed behind the tree as to not be seen.
Raven: "It's just me (Y/N) no need to be shy." She said as I peered around the corner to see Raven. I grew a slight smile as I slowly walked from behind the tree and sat down in my original spot. She just shook her head playfully and sat down next to me. "You seriously need to get over that shyness of yours." She said as I puffed my cheeks in annoyance as she laughed. I then began to type on my scroll and handed it to her.
(Y/N)'s Scroll: "I know but you more than anyone know how I am." She said as she read it. She then handed me back my scroll.
Raven: "Yeah I know but I just have to tease you a bit." She said with a smile. I then punched her shoulder lightly as I grew a little read faced. "So what are you doing out her?" She asked as I typed on my scroll again and handed it to her.
(Y/N)'s Scroll: "Just thinking." She read as she handed me back my scroll.
Raven: "Thinking about what?" She asked as I typed on my scroll and handed it to her.
(Y/N)'s Scroll: "Im just thinking about the past 2 weeks. About how Professor Ozpin accepted me into Beacon, about how you guys welcomed me with open arms, and also thinking about....... you Raven." She said as I saw a slight blush grow across her face as she handed me back my scroll.
Raven: "What have you been thinking about me for?" She said as I began to type on my scroll. After a minute of typing I handed the scroll to her and placed my hoodie on my head.
(Y/N)'s Scroll: "I've been thinking about you a lot lately. I probably began thinking about you when we first met. You were kind and considerate about me even though you had no idea who I was. You were the first person I truly began to form any type of relationship with. You accepted me with how I was and always helped me. I guess I've just been thinking about how I...... love you." She finished as she handed me back my scroll with a red face. I didn't know how she was gonna respond so I prepared for the worst.
Raven: "Can you look at me (Y/N)?" She asked as I slowly look at her. She then brought her face closer to mine and placed her lips softly against mine. At first I tensed up but soon found myself enjoying the experience. After a while she broke the kiss as I looked at her wide eyed. I then tightened the hoodie around my head slight and looked away as Raven chuckled a little. She then wrapped her arms around my neck and laid my back against her body. "Of course I return those feelings. I love you as well (Y/N)." She said as I relaxed while in her arms. "My lovable mute." She said as a smile grew across my face.
