RWBY x Male Reader (Request Book)

PK Love

This is a Lucas Male Reader x Neo requested by STAR-B01. Lucas is from the game Mother 3. Just look it up if you don't know. He's more recognizable from Smash tho. Also this is gonna sort be an AU story. Sorta.

(Y/N)'s POV

While traveling the path I pulled out my flute and began to play. The song I was playing was called 'The Song of Time' I think but I'm not 100% sure. All I know is that it did kill some time. I smirked at my joke as I continued to play the tune. I was interrupted however by the sound of screaming. I stopped playing and rushed towards the noise to find four people surrounded by grim. My eyes shot wide open as they circled the four travelers. The four of them looked in no condition to fight so I needed to act fast. I rushed forward into the hoard and killed a couple of grim until I found myself next to the group.
???: "Who are you?!?" A girl with green hair asked.
(Y/N): "Someone who's here to help!" I said with a smile. "Now take a breather while I beat them up." I said as I turned to face the hoard.
???: "Are you crazy?!?" Said a male voice from behind him.
(Y/N): "Just a little." I said with a chipper tone of voice. "Now lets get down to business!" I said reading myself.

Third Person POV

The grim hoard howled in anticipation while (Y/N) readied himself for combat. (Y/N) held out his hand and concentrated.
(Y/N): "PK Fire!!" He shouted as fire erupted in front of him and engulfed a couple of grim in the blaze. Once the fire burned out the grim charged him. "This is gonna be fun!!" He shouted as he ran towards them meeting them half way. A beowolf dived for (Y/N), but was cut short when (Y/N) swung his bat into its face. The force from the hit causedthe beowolf to go flying into the forest. "Homerun!!!" He shouted. Another one pounced from above as (Y/N) rolled out of the way. "PK Freeze!!" He shouted as a cold gust engulfed a multitude of grim and froze them in place. (Y/N) dashed around the battlefield smashing the statues into pieces as more howls were heard from all around him. He stood up and looked around to see that the hoard was still big. (Y/N) let out a sighed and looked back towards the four people. "This is getting really boring now so I'm gonna end it real quick. I suggest you guys clear the hoard or get to high ground real quick." I said nonchalantly. They all looked at him confused but soon nodded there heads. The green haired girl and black haired girl got up while the silver haired boy picked up a girl with pink and brown hair. They quickly got away from the hoard and (Y/N) smiled. (Y/N) placed his hand on the ground and concentrated. "PK Water!!" He shouted as a small flood of water erupted at the feet of the hoard. A beowolf charged him while he smirked. (Y/N) jumped onto the back of the beast and used it as a catapult to lift himself into the air. While (Y/N) lifted into the air he concentrated and shot his hands into the sky. "PK Thunder!!" He shouted as bolts of lighting came from the sky and crashed into the ground. Once the thunder connected with the water it electirified it which killed the hoard in the process. As (Y/N) finally fell and touched the ground he looked around and smiled at his work. He then looked around until he found the four travelers. Once he found them he quickly made his way over.

(Y/N)'s POV

After a short walk I found myself standing in front of the small group.
(Y/N): "Everyone okay?" I asked as they nodded.
???: "What are you?" The silver haired guy asked me.
(Y/N): "A traveler but you can call me (Y/N) (L/N). Nice to meet ya." I said with a smile.
Cinder: "Well (Y/N) my name is Cinder." The black haired girl said with a smile. "This is Emerald, Mercury, and Neo." She said pointing to each one as I nodded. I looked at all of them and noticed they were hurt especially the girl named Neo. She had a deep gash in her left leg.
(Y/N): "Woah are you okay?!?" I asked concerned as I knelt down next to her. She just shook her head. "Do you mind if I look at it?" I said as she just shook her head again. I examined the wound and found it to be half an inch deep. I placed my hand over it as she looked at me questionly. I focused as a green light started to emit from my hand. "PK Heal." I said as the green light intensified. After a minute the light faded and I removed my hand to see her wound completely healed. She looked at me amazed as everyone else looked at me in shock.
Emerald: "What did you do?!?" She asked me.
(Y/N): "I healed her duh." I said.
Mercury: "But how?!?" He asked dumbfound.
(Y/N): "It's a part of my semblance." I said with a smile.
Cinder: "Sembelance?" She asked as I nodded and sat down.
(Y/N): "My sembelance is Psychokinesis or PK for short. It gives me the ability to manipulate my aura. It lets me do a lot of things such as controlling the elements in battle or, as I just did for Neo's leg, heal." I said as they all looked at me amazed. I cracked my knuckles and gave a smile. "Now anymore injuries need to be healed?" I asked.
Mercury: "If you don't mind." He said as I shook my head.
(Y/N): "I don't mind at all." I said as I began to heal all of their wounds. After a few more minutes everyone was completely healed. I let out a sigh and fell on my back while looking at the sky.
Cinder: "You okay?" She asked a bit concerned.
(Y/N): "Yeah I'm fine just a bit tired is all." I said with a smile as I felt a tap on my shoulder. I looked to my right to see Neo sitting next to me. She lifted my head and slowly placed it on her lap as I grew a slight blush. She then pulled out her scroll and typed on it. She handed it to me and I read it.
Neo's Scroll: "This is my thanks for rescuing me and healing me." It said as I nodded. I handed her back her scroll.
(Y/N): "I don't wanna be mean but are you mute Neo?" I questioned as she nodded with a smile.
Cinder: "We'll all leave once you've rested (Y/N)." She said to me as I nodded slightly with a smile.
(Y/N): "Well since I'm resting I might as well play a tune." I said as I took my flute out of my pocket and began to play. I decided I would play The Song of Storms. As I played I looked up to see Neo smiling and swaying her head with the tune. I smiled and played for a few more minutes until I finished. Once I was done I heard everyone clap lightly. "Thank you thank you." I said as I finally sat up and stretched.
Mercury: "You feel rested enough?" He asked me as I nodded.
(Y/N):  "I am thank you." I said as I got up. Once everyone was fine we made our way towards the path and ventured down it. At the end of the path there was a fork in the road. "Well I guess this is where we part." I said as they looked at me sadly.
Cinder: "Why?" She asked me.
(Y/N): "I have to find someone." I said with a slight anger in my voice. "And I don't wanna drag you guys into it." I said as I felt a slap to the back of my head. "Ow!" I said as I looked to see Neo pouting. She quickly typed on her scroll and handed it to me.
Neo's Scroll: "We're coming with you!!" It said as I handed it back to her.
(Y/N): "I'm sorry Neo but I have to do this alone." I said as I felt another slap to my head. "Neo that's starting to sting!" I whined as she chuckled.
Cinder: "Well like it or not you're stuck with us." She said as I sighed with a smile on my face.
(Y/N): "I guess I am." I said as we all laughed.
