A Kombatant in Remnant

(Y/N)'s POV

I walked around the Shaolin Temple until finally finding Raiden.

(Y/N): "Master Raiden." I bowed and he bowed as well.

Raiden: "Hello Kabal."

(Y/N): "I've outgrown that name Master Raiden. Please call me (Y/N)."

Raiden: "As you wish (Y/N). I'm glad you finally arrived."

(Y/N): "What troubles you Master?"

Raiden: "I fear Shao Khan has found another realm he wishes to conquer."

(Y/N): "What do you mean Master?"

Raiden: "There is a realm that is almost exactly like that of Earthrealm. Shao Khan wishes to take it over and expand his army. You will stop him." He extended his hand and a portal appeared right next to me.

Raiden: "This realm is called Remnant. You are to find one of its many leaders and warn them about the invasion." I bowed to him and he bowed back. "May The Elder Gods watch over you." I stepped through the portal and ventured into the unknown realm.

Timeskip - Emerald Forest

I appeared through the other side and was met by a lush forest. I pulled out my hookswords and began walking through the forest. A portal opened a ways from me and I hid behind a tree.

Tarkatans came spewing out of the portal and into the open.I jumped from behind the tree and ran at them. Before they noticed me I managed to slit a couple of their throats causing them to bleed to death. Two tarkatans charged me and I stabbed my hook swords into their stomachs.

I twisted my hooks inside of them and pulled. This caused their intrales to explode out of their bodies and blood splatter everywhere. I continued my slaughter for as long as I could. Minutes passed, but there seemed to be no end to them

A sharp pain erupted from my side cause one of them stabbed me. I fell to my knees and coughed blood into my mask. One of them came up to me and placed his blade to my neck.

Tarkatan: "Anyway last words."

(Y/N): "See you in the Neatherrealm." Just as was about to slice my throat, a shot rang out through the forest and the tarkatan dropped dead. Four people ran from the bushes towards me.

There was a girl with bunny ears, a girl with a a mini gun, a giant guy with a huge longsword, and finally a man with scythe blades attached to his arms.

Girl: "Duck!!" The girl with the mini gun stood her ground and I ducked. She held down the trigger on her weapon and mowed down every single tarkatan that was left.

When she stopped firing I got on my knees and looked around to see them all dead. I tried to stand up, but my knees buckled under me and I fell to the ground holding my side. I heard footsteps hurry towards me.

Girl: "Velvet get out your medkit."

Velvet: "Already on it Coco." She pulled out some medical supplies.
