Cold Flames

This is a Tsundere Male Reader x Yang requested by Senor_Sal.

(Y/N)'s POV

Snow covered the desolate mountains. People snowboarded and skied to their heart's content. It was actually a beautiful scene. I stood atop the hill with Yang beside me. The rest of our friends were at the base of the mountain.

(Y/N): "Race time." I placed my board flat and strapped my foot to it.

Yang: "Get ready to eat my dust (Y/N)." She strapped her feet to her snowboard and got ready.

(Y/N): "Whatever you say." I gave us a countdown and we sped off. We were neck and neck going down the slope. Snow flew into the sky behind us.

Yang activated her Ember Celica and smiled. I dashed in front of her when she fired her shots behind her. We collided and roughly fell into the snow. Our snowboards slid past us and down the mountain.

Yang: "What hell (Y/N)?!"

(Y/N): "Are you absolutely stupid?! We are on a snowy mountain Xiao Long!! The blast from your gauntlets could cause an-" A loud crash and rumble could be heard from far behind us. We both looked behind us with wide eyes.

Yang: "Avalanche!!" The snow was barreling down on us at an alarming rate. We didn't have any way of outrunning it. I looked around in an absolute panic. My eyes rested on a nearby cave.

(Y/N): "Over there!!" I grabbed her arm and we ran to the cave. The snow was gaining ground faster and faster.  We ran into the cave just as snow cover the entrance. I sat up catching my breath.

Yang: "Man that snowballed out of control."

(Y/N): "We're stranded in a cave that's blocked by snow and all you can think about is joking?"

Yang: "It's not like we'll be trapped for long." She got to her feet and activated Ember Celica. "Cleared path coming right up." I got up and smacked her upside the head.

(Y/N): "And risk the cave falling in on our heads?!" She deactivated her gauntlets and looked at me annoyed.

Yang: "Then what's your master plan genius?!"

(Y/N): "We have to wait. They'll notice we aren't there and send out a search party."

Yang: "What if they don't find us?! We'll be dead!!"

(Y/N): "And we'll also be dead if you don't stop acting first instead of thinking!!"

Yang stormed off to the other side of the small cave. The cave had small formations all around. She punched the wall, but recoiled and held her hand in pain. I sighed and walked to the sealed entrance.

It was snow for the most part, but had some fragments of bark and broken branches sticking out. I yanked at some of the pieces and tore it from the snow.

After I gathered enough, I walked to the middle of the room and placed the pieces in the middle. I waked around the cave and gather medium sized rocks. I placed them around the wood.

Yang: "Can I help?" She walked over with a half smile.

(Y/N): "Give me one of the shells you use for Ember Celica." She did as I instructed and placed it in my palm. My hands carefully opened the shell and saw fire dust at the base of the shell.

I emptied the contents into the pit and grabbed a small stick. I placed it on the dust and started to twist the stick around. Fire erupted from the spot and burned the wood.
