Semblance - Faster Movement and Reaction Speed

Drawback - Costs a large amount of stamina and muscles aches

(Y/N)'s POV

Things were going great. The finals for the Vytal Festival were currently going on. Yang was facing Mercury and she was winning. She landed one final solid punch and he fell to the ground.

Announcer: "Winner: Yang Xiao Long!!" I erupted in cheers along with the crowd. Yang walked up to Mercury and helped him up. They talked for a minute and she walked away.

In that moment, Yang pivoted and punched Mercury's leg. Gasps could be heard from the crowd. Guards immediately ran into the ring and pointed their guns at her. I jumped from the stands and ran towards them.

Yang: "He was about to attack me!!" I pushed past them and got to Yang's side.

(Y/N): "Are you okay?!"

Yang: "I'm fine (Y/N), but I don't know why every-" She stopped mid sentence when she looked up at the projector. It showed her punching Mercury in the leg. "But I saw him attack me."

Ironwood: "Stand down!!" He walked onto the field and stopped a few feet from us. "You're under arrest Yang. Please come with us."

Yang: "I know he attacked me. Why won't any of you believe me?" She turned to me and our eyes connected. "You believe me, right (Y/N)?"

(Y/N): "There has to be a reason General. I know Yang better then anyone else. She wouldn't attack without being provoked."

Ironwood: "We can discuss this later. For now we need to leave." We both nodded and left the arena with him.

Timeskip - 3 Hours

I stood outside of Team RWBY's dorm waiting. The door opened and General Ironwood walked out. Soon after the rest of Yang's team did the same. They all looked at me and I nodded. I entered the room and saw Yang sitting there looking into space.

Yang: "Why won't anyone believe me?" I walked up and sat down next to her. She turned to me and tears formed in her eyes. "Why?"

My arms wrapped around he and she buried her face into my chest. I could feel her tears stain my shirt. It didn't matter to me. All that mattered was Yang.

(Y/N): "I'm here Yang. I'm here." She held onto my tightly and softly chuckled.

Yang: "I know you are." After a few minutes she finally relaxed and let me go. She dried her tears and smiled. "Thanks (Y/N). For everything."

(Y/N): "Anything for you Yang." She laid her head against my shoulder and I placed mine atop hers. I'll always be there for you.

BOOM!!

A giant explosion came from outside the building. We both ran to the window and looked outside. Grimm were inside the city and attacking. Sirens were blaring all around.

(Y/N): "We gotta go." Yang nodded and we raced outside. We entered the courtyard and met up with the rest of her team.

Ruby: "What's going on?!"
