"Y-You!" screamed Ellegaard while Olivia was in shock. "How did you get in here?!"
"Simple," I nodded at Olivia. "She let me in."
Ellegaard turned to face her former apprentice, mouth open, and ready to yell at Olivia. Only to freeze in horror as she saw Olivia's eyes glow a deep red. I brought a burnt hand to my chin. "Well, I say 'her' but 'it' is more accurate... right, PAMA?"
It was then I watch 'Olivia' throw Ellegaard across the room, crashing into her advanced crafting machine; the very thing Maura, my demonic merchant, told me that I would need to repair PAMA.
But the truth is, I didn't need Ellegaard's 'advanced' crafting machine to bring PAMA back online. Seriously, it's only four crafting tables being pushed together towards the center by pistons; I can easily recreate that machine.
And it wasn't hard to discover what the advanced crafting machine looks like either since Olivia brags about it. All I had to do was eavesdrop on her when I was inside the City.
So I built the crafting machine, placed PAMA in the center and the complicated parts, needed to repair it, on the other faces of the crafting tables.
But, to me, that wasn't good enough. So I installed a Mana Generator in the mix, giving PAMA an alternate source of energy.
I even included a metal slab with a rune on it that contains the skill [Metal Manipulation], and 9 Red Mage Mana Cores. That way PAMA has more control over redstone than even the strongest redstone user.
But PAMA was still in its singular cube form. It lacked mobility. It could talk, but it couldn't reach its full potential.
There was also the problem that I compressed 9 Mana Cores into a small space, making them collide into each other and generating more energy. I didn't want another repeat of the hybrid I unleashed in Boom Town.
So I built a golem replica of Olivia, with PAMA's small, original cube body hiding inside it. Piloting, and controlling, the artificial body I made.
Then I simply snuck into Redstonia, my skill [Stealth] aiding me as we breached the Dome of Concentration, with the aid of my Hell Ring: Sigh. All I had to do was use [Metal Manipulation] to move the iron blocks on the roof to create an entrance, and seal it up as we went inside.
Then I created drama between Ellegaard and 'Olivia', and get the override code since Ellegaard's A.I. has no control over the Dome of Concentration.
So here I am now, looking as 'Olivia' walked towards the computer terminal. Ellegaard got up from the ground. "Calvin," she shouted. "Intruders! Protocol zero!"
"Protocol zero, initiated." Replied the A.I. "Releasing security golems."
Then I saw the constructs appear. My constructs. The same golem designs Ellegaard stole from me, slightly tweaked for Red Mages, and then promoted it publicly as if she invented it.
But that's not why I'm here. She took something from me that was worth so much more. I saw the same golems: Naga, Giant, and Scorpion appear from the shadows of the room, dropping from the ceiling, or simply walking though the entrance of Ellegaard's workshop.
I could have PAMA override the golems since they are under the influence of Red Mage magic. I used [Observe] on the A.I. to see that Calvin is using some kind of frequency. It would be interesting to see that happen... but I'm done playing around.
The golems surrounded us. I watched as Ellegaard try to secretly run towards the exit. Magnus had one exit to his kingdom. Ellegaard has one exit to her workshop. It's ironic that they have so much in common, yet they hate each other.
