Chapter 8: Pro Bending Finals

Asami POV

I get up early and head to the air temple with Mako and Bolin to get Korra for their Pro Bending Finals match tonight. It had been pushed back due to Lin needing more time to gather the necessary troops and supplies to secure the arena. When we arrive at the temple I can smell Pema's cooking from the courtyard.

Asami: "It smells delicious Pema." I say smiling.

Pema: "Well feel free to help yourself, after you go wake up Korra and M/N though."

Asami: "Ok, Mako why don't you go wake M/N, I'm afraid Bolin might give him a heart attack." I say and start laughing after I see Bolin's pouty face.

Pema: "Oh, something tells me one person would be enough." I see Pema smiling as she said that. I look at Mako and he just shrugs. We head our separate ways, me to Korra's room and Mako to M/N's. When I get there I knock lightly, no answer. I open the door slightly, and am met with one of the cutest scenes. There's M/N, sleeping on Korra's stomach, while his feet hang off the edge of the bed. Korra has a hand in his H/C H/S hair, and her other resting on his chest. I smile as I begin to see M/N stir.

Asami: "Wakey, wakey, sleepy head. Breakfast is out." I see him nod and start to get up only to have Korra's hand sneak around his shoulder and pulling him back. I see him turn around and his eyes go wide, but then lays back down and turns back to me. I see him blushing like crazy when he sees me standing there. He makes a gesture that this stays between us. I give him a sly smirk and see an almost scared expression on his face. I walk back into the dining room and look at Pema and see her smiling at me as Mako rushes in.

Mako: "M/N'S Missing!" I see everyone's faces change except Pema's.

Pema: "Don't worry he's fine, trust me he's closer than you think." She says looking at me.

As I'm telling everyone about what I saw I see M/N walk in, his head looking at the floor the entire time. I still see the redness on his cheeks. A few minutes later Korra walks in.

Korra: "Hey guys, what's up?" I see her say while stretching.

Asami: "Nothing much, you ready for tonight?"

Korra: "Yup." She says confidently. She sits down and looks at M/N.

Korra: "What's wrong twofold?" I see Bolin laugh at the nickname and at what's about to happen. M/N continues to just look at the floor blushing madly.

Bolin: "Well you see," I see M/N flash Bolin a glare. "He's a bit embarrassed because he slept on you last night." I see Korra blush quickly, but then she smirks. Oh, she's going to help us tease him. I smile to waiting to see what Korra does. To my surprise she gets out of her chair and seductively walks over to M/N. I see his eyes go wide and his face becomes even redder. She sits down next to him and whispers in his ear in "that" kind of voice.

Korra: "Hey M/N. Did you sleep well?" I see him try and get away but Korra sneaks an arm around his shoulder. "Because I "Know" I did, thanks for keeping me warm, babe." And with that, M/N, red face and all gets up and walks out of the dining room. I see Korra turn to me and start balling her eyes out laughing. I soon join in along with everyone else... Except Mako. In fact, I don't think I've seen him even smile. He looks almost... Jealous?

Your POV

Why? Oh why? Now I'm going to have to live with that for the rest of my life. They're never going to live that down, but, I did sleep rather well no nightma- no stop thinking like that. I am about half way to my room when I feel my stomach growl. I groan, I forgot to eat. I turn around and begin heading back. As I get closer I hear all of them laughing. I walk in and they all turn to me, holding in their laughter. I grab a few rolls and put in in my mouth to eat on the way back, but as soon as I walk out I hear them all start laughing hysterically again. After I head back to my room and finish my rolls I decide to go practice for a bit until I need to leave for the bending match tonight.
