Chapter 114

I look up at him and sigh as I stand up. We walk into the living room and he pulls me onto the couch. He sits down next to me and looks into my eyes,

"Babygirl.." He says, "What's going on?"

"What?" I ask, trying to play dumb.

"You guys are quiet.. What's wrong? It's like everyone's hiding something." He explains.

"Oh" I mumble, "I dunno. The kids are probably just tired. So am I."

He looks down, breaking eye contact, "Oh.. Okay."

Adym stands up and walks back into the kitchen, leaving me in the living room. As I sit there, I fight the urge to cry but I stand up and walk back into the kitchen. The kids finish eating and go clean their plates.

"Riley?" I say, "Can you make sure Jordan gets in the shower while I get Reyna in the shower?"

Riley nods and walks Jordan upstairs. Reyna helps me clean for a few minutes before I take her upstairs to my bathroom to shower. As I grab her pajamas, Reyna sits on the bed.

"Sky?" She asks.

"Hm?" I say, handing her the pajamas.

"What's wrong?" She says, taking her clothes.

"Nothing. Why?" I reply.

"I dunno.. You seem sad and I saw Adym kiss another girl.. Doesn't that hurt?" She explains.

I shut the drawer and look at her, "Don't worry honey, everything's gonna be okay. I'm fine. I promise."

Reyna looks at me with her big brown eyes and we both know I'm not okay. Once I get her in the shower, I lay on the bed and go on my phone. Riley knocks on the door and walks in.

"Hey" she says, laying down next to me, "I'm sorry about what Reyna and Jordan said earlier. They should no better.."

"It's fine." I say, trying to smile, "It's no big deal.."

Riley sighs, "Okay.. You know you can't keep this a secret? You have to tell him how you feel. It's just gonna get worse if you don't tell him..."

I nod and she continues, "Well I got Jordan in the shower. I'm gonna get in after him and go to bed."

I nod as she leaves the room. Reyna finishes up her shower and gets dressed. Her and Jordan begin getting ready for bed and Riley and I put them to bed. Once they go to sleep, Riley goes to her room and goes to bed. As I walk back into my room, I hear Adym coming upstairs so I try to avoid him by grabbing some clothes and rushing to the bathroom to shower.

Adym's Pov

As I walk upstairs, I think about what I'm gonna say to Sky. I really want things to go back to normal but she keeps acting weird. I know something's wrong but I don't know what. When I got home, I wanted to tell Sky about something that happened earlier but she was acting weird. And I really don't wanna make her day worse so I don't know when I should tell her. But I feel really bad, something happened today that I completely regret. It wasn't something I did on purpose, it just happened. Like, I was caught off guard... I get farther up the stairs and I still can't think of what to say. I see her grab some clothes and walk into the bathroom..

Skylar's Pov

I shut the bathroom door and lock it. Stripping down to nothing, I get into the shower, I begin washing my hair and body. As I'm left alone with my thoughts, memories of today begin flooding in once again. Tears begin forming in my eyes and I try to stop but I can't help myself from crying. Once I get out of the shower, I dry off and throw on some joggers and a hoodie. I go to unlock the door but I can't stop crying. Leaning against the door, I sit down and bring my knees up to my face. Tears stream down my face as I picture that girl kissing him. How could he do that to me?!  Suddenly, the door knob moves but the door remains locked.

"Babygirl?" I hear Adym.

"Baby what's wrong?" He asks.

I don't answer because I'm trying to calm down.

"Sky?" He says, worried.

"Please Skylar open the door!" He begins to panic.

I stand up and wipe off my face before unlocking the door. He hugs me as soon as the door opens.

"Skylar what's wrong?" He asks, "I know somethings going on."

"I just got shampoo in my eye's that's all." I lie.

He hugs me tighter, "I love you. Please know that I'm your boyfriend. I'm here for you no matter what and you can always talk to me."

I break away from the hug and walk over to the bed and lay down. He lays down next to me and wraps his arms around my waist. I squirm around for a few seconds before going downstairs to grab a water bottle. All I can think about is what Riley said, it's only gonna get worse if I don't tell him. Once I get the water bottle, I head upstairs and lay on the bed while Adym's editing a youtube video. 

Next Day

I wake up with Adym's arms wrapped around my waist. His head rests on my shoulder as I lay in bed trying to think of ways to talk to him. I've tried to wait for him to bring it up but he hasn't. All I'm doing is making things worse by not talking to him and the kids know what happened and they're starting to ignore him As Well. I can't let this go on, I need to say something.. But how?
