"Hey. You're Thomas, right?" You asked, leaning out from your spot on a top bunk.
"Uh.....Yeah." He said, turning to you, his hands still on the bars to the ladder.
"How long do you have?" You asked, resting your chin on the side of the bed.
"For What?"
"For the maze. You know, until you get sent up." You yawned, eating for a response.
Thomas sighed.
"Uh, a little over two months I think." He shrugged, shaking his head.
"You?"
"I'm supposed to go next week. There's not too many of us left, you know."
Thomas sighed quietly, climbing up into his bunk bed.
"Well, I doubt we'll end up in the same maze, but good luck with that."
"Thanks." You smiled. You fixed your pillow and laid down while Thomas did the same.
"I never got you name." He said quietly from his bunk bed.
"Y/N." You smiled to yourself, glad to have made a friend as you drifted off to sleep.
