Tranquility washed over me as I looked at the view from our private villa.

The sand looked like a carpet of brown sugar with indents of different sized footprints that were marked hours before. The saline tanginess of the sea caressed my nose as I took in a deep breath to assess the statement that has been going through my mind ever since a few days ago.

I am officially married now. A wife.

But not just any wife, Thanatos' wife.

The more I say it out loud or in my head, the more amusing it seems when I come to the conclusion that I am married to Death. But hell, I don't give a rat's ass, I love him.

Looking back I realized just how much we have gone through. From being each other's enemies to passionate lovers, and now- a married couple. It truly is remarkable how fate works sometimes.

I always had a certain type of attraction towards Thanatos from the very beginning, I mean who wouldn't? But that's not the point. I also knew that he had an obsession-he still does- with me as our time passed finding Hecate's murderer.

Who knew, a couple of murders, large flashy parties, and a virtue ring could be a recipe for an unknowing romance?

I sighed as two muscular arms reached out and wrapped themselves around my small waist, caging me to a chiseled body. Leaning my head back I tilted upwards to stare into a pair of red orbs.

I giggled as Thanatos dipped down and began showering my neck with the touch of his lips. His thick black mane tickles my nose as he maneuvers to the other side, wanting it to match its twin.

"Good morning, angel" He murmured, the huskiness of his tone indicating how he just got out of bed- that and his bedridden hair of course.

I skimmed my nose up his stubble covered cheek and placed a deep kiss at the cover of his mouth, creating a smacking noise once I pulled away. "Good morning, darling."

He growled lowly and picked me up bridal style. Going back to our room he stood at the edge of the bed and barrel rolled us on the mattress.

I squealed as the weight of his body on top of mine sent my hormones into a frenzy.

"Thane!"

Thanatos, that ass, chuckled and he used my breasts as pillows while he laid in a starfish position.

I tried lifted my body up but had no avail. I did like being under him, but for different reasons.

"Baby, come on let's eat breakfast and go to the beach!"

It was our honeymoon after all and Thanatos brought me to the Greek islands to spend it. We were now in the gorgeous island of Santorini, and I am not going to waste the opportunity to explore just because my lazy husband decides to become a corpulent panda. We can visit China some other time.

Thanatos' muffled moan sounded throughout the room. "Relax angel, it's only the first day. We have plenty of time to-"

"No! I want to go and see what's around and taste greek specialties!"

"You have a greek specialty laying on top of you but I don't see you ravishing it." He grumbled and nuzzled his head further into my chest.

I rolled my eyes and started to play with the matted curls on his head. I sighed dramatically, "Well since my husband doesn't want to heed his wife's wishes, I guess she will have to find another man to embrace."

That got Thanatos up and running. Only he wasn't running, more like charging towards me and cocooning me to his warm body.

He grabbed both of my cheeks in his hands and stared me down as he talked.
