The sun helps synthesize vitamin D, but sunlight can also be dangerous. Ultraviolet rays damage the skin, even in just a light tan. Remember that 90% of skin cancer cases are cause by sunlight exposure.

Breasts are the most sensitive part of the female body. It is a personal choice whether you want to bathe topless or not, but remember the increased risk to skin which is exposed.

If you decide to sunbathe topless, take precautions. Take antioxidants such as phloretin in the morning; apply breast and nipple cream with the highest possible protection against the suns ultraviolet rays.

Restrict exposure to sunlight and do not sunbathe during the most dangerous time for sunbathing (11 am to 4 pm).

11 am to 4 pm is also times in which you should spend indoors during the summer due to dangerous conditions other than sunburn, such as heat stroke, hyperthermia, dehydration, heat exhaustion, etc.. Stay safe and keep indoors during those five dangerous hours and keep hydrated when out in the sun. Water, lemon water, coconut water, Gatorade, and Pedialyte are all great things to drink during the summer to keep fluids in and dehydration out.
