Elena's pov

This whole week I've been trying to figure out a plan to get Zayn to sit down and talk to me.With Sianna and Danny's help,the girls are with them only for tonight since it's a weekend then I'll be bringing them to Zayn tomorrow.

Thats where I'm headed now just not with the girls but Zayn thinks I am since it's his weekend with them.A small part of me is mentally prepared for him to slam the door on my face.

I buzzed myself in,our anniversary.

Parking behind his all black Mercedes-Benz..This man and his cars.

I knocked in the door twice.

"Coming."when he opened the door I got the reaction I expected."Where are the girls?"He asked harshly."With Sianna and Danny,I need to talk to you."

"I said it Monday and I'll say it again,go talk to Travis."He's never talked so bitterly to me in the years we've known each other."No,I need to talk to you!"I demanded.

"No!If it's not concerning our daughters then I don't want to hear it.Go talk to the man your in a relationship with!Remember you're carrying his kid."Zayn pointed to my stomach,I slapped his hand away."No you ass,I'm carrying your baby!"I semi yelled,last thing I needed was a scene."What?"

"The baby isn't Travis's,it's yours-ours."Zayn ran his hand across his hairy face.Taking me by the hand bring me inside.Not closing the door but slamming the door.

"You were going to lie to me?"He didn't hold back his anger this time.

"I was going to tell you I swear,I was just scared."I said,"I'm sorry."

"It took you this long to tell me the truth?!"

"I found out the same day you did.I missed my monthly two months in a row then took the test-"I quickly said.I heard a loud thunder noise from outside,not even minute later the lights were out.

"Shit."I felt a distant between him and I which scared me.Its a storm and it's dark in here."Zayn?"I reached out for his arm but failed to find it."I'm right here."He took me by the hand once again,leading us to the kitchen."Sit."I sat down on a familiar soft cushion,the bench in the kitchen.

"Where are you going?"I asked when I felt his hand leave my back."To get candles."

"Okay."I'm not ashamed to say it,I'm 24 years old and I'm afraid of the dark.Im like a big kid and I don't care.I always had this fear of the dark.

"Calm down I'm right here."Zayns face appeared after lighting one candle going from one to twenty.I forgot I put loads of candles around the house.

"Not asking this in a disrespectful way but are you positive this is my baby?"If I had something to throw at him I would,"It would be very difficult to say its Travis considering we never had sex."

"Sorry."He gave me a shy smile,slowly changing into a happy one.Like something just set in."You told him?"

"Yeah."I got my phone out to see if I had any bars."Dan text me,they will keep the girls until tomorrow."

"Okay."Zayn got up and went to the pantry,"Hungry?"Less the ten Minutes ago was yelling now he's being nice.Somewhere along me being here we will talk or argue.

"Yeah."I answered.

"Pizza kinda still warm,Ben and Jerry's ice cream it's Amina's and loads of cereal."

"Everything but cereal."

He laughed."Craving already?"

"No,I haven't eaten all day."He shuffled around the kitchen,getting everything I asked for."You're pregnant,you have to eat."

"Easier said then done when you can't hold down anything."He placed everything in front of us with a Pepsi."How do you feel about this?"I asked.

"Well this is the results we get when I don't use a condom and I'm guessing you aren't on the pill?"I shook my head."Yeah."

Dead silence..

"Will you be apart of his or hers life?"I with him still being mad at me I wasn't sure where he stood with that.

"Is that a real question?I live and breath for our daughters now and you think I wouldn't want to be apart of this babies life."Remember when I said an argument would take place,here it is.

"I'm surprised you would even tell me with your history of not telling me I'm a father."Wow..This again.

"Fuck you."I stood up and grabbed my bag.Zayns mighty fast hands caught me before I good leave the kitchen."Let me go!"

"No!You know your wrong!If I didn't walk in when you took the test we wouldn't be standing here right now Elena."Zayn yelled,this might turn into a yelling match.

"No we wouldn't be standing here if you didn't half ass our relationship Zayn!The other boys managed to be there for their girl friends when on the road.But no ,not Zayn!I can count on one hand how many times you were home the first year of Naveens life.I needed you damnit.I needed you when I felt like shit.Amina needed you when she wanted her daddy to read her a fucking story before bed or just wanted to see his face.You fucked up from the start not me.Now move!"I yelled,he didn't move so I pushed passed him.When I open the door the rain was coming down hard and hard thunder as well.

"Seriously!"I ran to my car,"Elena!"I heard Zayn call for me,I didn't May him no mind.

His hand met moved mine when I tried to open the door."Leave me alone."I cried."You're not driving."

"Yes I am,I don't want to be here."I said."Well you have no choice,you're not putting yourself and our baby at risk."More lighten and thunder came and I jumped."Come on."I snatched my hand away.

When we came back in the house,I was soaking wet."Can I have a change of clothes?"I hate asking him for something when I'm annoyed with him."Yeah."

Just so happened he ended up giving me the matching sweater from our Disney trip last year and leggings that I left and a pair of Amina's fuzzy socks.

I sat to the table with a cup of tea,I'm going to regret running out in the rain a few days from now.

"Elena."Zayn called from the living room."What?"He chuckled,I can tell it's an 'asshole' chuckle."Come here please."

I hesitantly walked to the living seeing the fire place lit,I forgot how beautiful it looks.We didn't use it last year for christmas."It's warmer in here."Zayn said,I sat down with on one of two huge pillows."I was a shit dad and fiancée those two years,I wasn't there for you like I should've been.I just wasn't there like I should've been and I'm sorry."

Normally his apologies on this topic is just to shut me up but I know this one is real.

"I'm sorry as well."He shook his head."You don't owe me an apology,

you are a perfect mum and fiancée.I lost count how many times you've flown to see me."

"I'm tired of fighting,I'm worn out."I said,wiping my damp cheeks."It's not fair to the girls you know?"

"I agree,no more fighting.We have to focus on the girls and this baby."He held out his pinky,I wrapped mine in his not knowing he would bring me to his side."We will be okay."

For the first time in awhile he held me,not like that half ass stuff he did before.It was a proper Zayn cuddle.

"Does the girls know?"

"Yeah,Navi is positive it's a girl."Zayn laughed,covering us with a blanket."I agree with her."

"A bit of a chance you two will get a little girl.."I said."Are we going to keep the living arrangements like this or.."Zayn said."I think it should stay like this until we work on us."

He sighed,I know he wanted a different answer but for right now this is what's best.

They're dealing with their issues!Now we all know what led up to their break ups.More to come.
