Gabi walks over to Benjamin and smiles. "Hey. So after the game do you wanna hang out?"

Benjamin frowns, "I already have plans with Noah...maybe next weekend".

"Oh. Okay. Well, at least we get to hang out at the game".

Benjamin smiles, "I'm sorry. I could reschedule".

Gabi shakes her head, "Don't. We can just try another time, Okay?"

Benjamin nods and smiles as Noah walks over. "Hey".

"Hi. Are you ready for today?"

"Mhm. Can't wait to have my little cheerleader in the stands". Benjamin blushes and looks up at Noah.

The bell rings and Benjamin frowns, "We'll talk at lunch, Gabi".

"Okay".

Noah nods at her before following Benjamin into their first-period class. Benny sits down and frowns, "I think Gabi may be mad at me. She wanted to make plans but I dodged her".

"Dodged her?"

"Cause we already have plans".

Noah chuckles and grabs his thigh, "You aint dodge her then. You just already had plans, it happens. Don't stress".

Benjamin shrugs, "I just feel bad. This friendship is new and I don't wanna fuck it up".

"Trust me. You're doing great".

Benjamin sighs and nods, "Okay".

"I'm telling you, no she didn't".

Benjamin walks over and smiles. "Hi, Noah. Who's this?"

"This Elly. One of my friends".

"Sup".

"Hi. I'm Benjamin".

Elly nods, "Sup", before turning back to Noah, "Aight. I see ya tonight at ya game, text me later, baby".

Noah chuckles, "You fucking gay".

"Mhm. I bet ya. You suck toes though".

"Mamaguevo". Noah holds up the middle finger and chuckles.

"Mm. It's tha otha way around, mijo".

Noah shakes his head, "I'll text you later".

Benny watches as she walks away and furrows his brows, "Baby?"

"Huh?"

"She calls you baby?"

"It's not like that".

Benjamin nods and looks up, "Where's she from? Her accent is strong".

"She's Dominican but grew up in New York".

"Hm".

Benjamin grabs Noah's hand as they walk off to their next class.

Benjamin smiles and nods, "I will see you at your game tonight. I will be the one screaming the loudest".

Noah smiles and leans down to kiss him once. "Okay. My car will be parked in the athletics parking lot so if you're spending the night just toss your bag in my backseat".
