Boy Band Headcanon

This is an AU where they aren't superheroes.

-It's Jason who starts the idea for them to start a band because he always wanted to play the drums and it's a good excuse to learn. He has a great sense of rhythm and beats. His favourite thing is to recreate his heart beat as a base for their songs, because it makes him feel exhilarated. Parents will use their instrumentals as lullabies to put their kids to sleep because his heartbeat soothes them.

-Dick is pretty good on a bass and can play some pretty cool riffs when he freestyles for fun. When asked where he learned, he shrugged and mentioned something about work. He's the one who mainly composes the songs but lyrics aren't his strong suit. He's the lead guitarist and has made a name for himself by having such a bright style that's not preppy either.

-Tim is surprisingly a good singer and not just the sweet pop voice type, but he has a bit of husk to it. His voice is a tenor and he often will sing Panic! At The Disco songs as he blasts it while he works on homework. He also plays bass, but he is the lead singer with Dick providing back up occasionally.

-Damian is on the keyboard or other instruments they might need for any of their songs. Shockingly, he writes a lot of the lyrics and when asked how, he just writes what the instrumental of the song inspires in him. So it's understandable that they don't have a lot of love songs, and only because Damian didn't write it.

-The girls will work together to record and manage the boys with Barbara taking point. Cass is mostly the one who schedules shows at events without any alcohol because Damian still isn't legal. Stephanie manages their production schedule and keeps them motivated by taking them to places so they can get inspiration from it. Babs is the executive and will make sure singles have enough publicity before they drop and that the boys don't spend their money on crazy things.

-When they first started, they hid their names and identities because they didn't want to be famous or liked just because of the Wayne name. Dick went by Nightwing, Jason as Red Hood, Tim by Red Robin and Damian as Robin. The band was called Batman as a joke because Alfred once said Bruce used to be scared of bats. The girls were officially dubbed "The Batgirls" by the Batclan, which was the name of their official fanbase.

-But people genuinely liked their music which was so relatable, taking what most of the younger generation struggled with or felt and making it into something new. Their break out hit was their song on loving your body, not because your told to, but because its your body and you can express yourself with it however you like. As long as it's not harmful or illegal though.

-Bruce and Alfred come to every show that's in Gotham to show their support and Bruce couldn't be more proud that the boys did so well. All of them, despite the hard lives they've lived, came together to do something that helped so many people.

-But of course, there will always be some crazy people who think breaking the law is fun. Some fans kidnapped the boys so they could have them all to themselves. 

-"Don't worry guys, the girls will figure out we're missing and get help."

-Dick kept the boys calm, while Jason dealt with the crazy girls giggling as they watched them through a window. Tim who had hid his phone in his shoe sneakily sent out an SOS and their last known location. 

-"Kidnapped. Went west on Summerseit for 15. Turned left and continued for 10."

-Damian was calm, but underneath he was nauseous at the thought that their disgusting kidnappers could do to him or his brothers.

-Before the suspense could get too great, police entered the building and got them out. They were met with the girls, Alfred and Bruce when they were brought to the police station. Bruce pulled them all into a huge hug relieved they were safe.

-It was a terrifying experience and they had to take a break for a bit to feel like normal people again. 

-Their next album addressed toxic relationships, paparazzi and how everyone is human and should be treated as such.

-Their biggest fans include, the Teen Titans, Damian and Tim's squad of friends of other famous kids. Jon's parents was a world famous journalists, Rachel's father a business man, Jaime a pop singer and Garfield, who was an actor. 

-Jason was already friends with Roy, the ward of Oliver Queen before it happened, but it was nice having a true friend among the people who just liked his fame.

-Dick was dating Babs, but after she left the group to help her father as a police officer in Gotham, they mutually broke up. No hard feelings and they all stayed friends with her.

-Then came in a hot actress from another country with her name Starfire a direct translation of her own. It didn't help Dick that she was a red head as well.

-Tim wasn't confident off stage but he was expected to be this cool guy because he was the lead singer. Steph helped him realize he could be himself and no one could tell him otherwise. They were slow to date, but it eventually happened.

-The moment they realized that they had made it big in the music industry was when they performed and won a Grammy at the same show. Not only did the general populace love them, but peers who worked in the same industry acknowledged their skill and talent. They decided then to take off their masks and show the world who they were celebrating.

-"We did this as a family, and that's why this award goes to our family," Dick said.

"It mostly goes to Alfred though," Jason interrupted.

"Yes, Alfred this wouldn't have been possible without you!"

"And Babs," Tim exclaimed.

"Don't forget Father, he was the inspiration for our band name," teenaged Damian added.

The boys all snickered and smirked in Bruce's direction who forced himself not to react.

-Bruce was nicknamed DaddyBats for being the father and inspiration for their wonderful band.
