Meliodas x Dying! Reader

Third Person's P.O.V
During the fight between the Seven Deadly Sins and the Demon King who was possessing the earth...all hope was supposed to be lost. As long as they were all together...their hope grew stronger. Meliodas wanted to save Elizabeth who was cursed to die for eternity but was also forced to love him. He wanted to be free as well of that burden so he could be with who he loves most...Y/n.
"Elizabeth I'll protect you while they fight the Demon King!" Y/n shouted with determination in her eyes. She was goddess Elizabeth's sister but was in a coma all this time till the ten commandments had awoken.
"Sister you mustn't! The Demon King will try to kill you as well!" Elizabeth tried to warn Y/n but she still didn't listen. She knew how determined she was to protect her. Y/n's short hair gently swayed with the wind as she glared at the Demon King with her e/c orbs filled with hate for him.
"I couldn't protect you before...or Meliodas who I loved. Still do, but...he loves you sister." Y/n spoke calmly and was shocked to see Elizabeth hugging her tightly with tears in her eyes.
"Another part of my curse...was for me to be forced to love him. My presence always influenced his feelings but he truly does love you!" Elizabeth declared and her words made Y/n very happy but knew they wouldn't have their happy ending.
"Everyone let's combine our attacks to kill this bastard once and for all!!" Meliodas shouted as the sins started shooting their attacks at the Demon King. Zeldris held Gelda close to him with worry in his eyes...he knew that his father wouldn't go down so easily.
"I will not die without making you suffer more my son~!" The Demon King chuckled as he shot a spear of darkness towards Elizabeth and Y/n.
"Y/n!!!! Elizabeth!!" Meliodas screamed as he started flying quickly towards them. Before the spear could hit then both it pierced itself into Y/n's chest after she had pushed Elizabeth out of the way. The Demon King smirked as he finally died after making Meliodas suffer..
"Sister...! Let me heal you!!" Elizabeth shouted with tears dripping down her cheeks as she tried to heal Y/n but it was no use.
"Y/n..." Meliodas muttered softly as he stood in front of Y/n who was sitting in a pool of her own blood as she leaned on a big boulder.
"Don't be sad..." Y/n spoke weakly while Meliodas began to shed tears. He knew that Y/n was going to die and there was nothing he could do to save her life.
"I love you...Meliodas." Was all Y/n could say as she closed her eyes and seconds later her heart had stopped beating. She died with a warm smile on her face. Meliodas got onto his knees and held Y/n's body close to his chest as he cried more.
"Meliodas..." Elizabeth spoke sadly as she couldn't stop herself from crying either. All the sins plus Zeldris and Gelda were sad too.
"I couldn't save her...I couldn't...do anything. I'm so sorry...Y/n!" Meliodas held onto Y/n tighter as he screamed loudly with more tears falling from his emerald orbs.
"We defeated the Demon King...now save Sis-sis like Y/n wanted as well." Merlin spoke calmly but even she couldn't hide her sadness.
"I'm not going to just save Elizabeth...I will destroy the power of the Demon King. That power is what killed Y/n...I don't want it." Meliodas spoke firmly as he continued to hold onto Y/n's dead body as he not only saved Elizabeth but destroyed the Demon King's power.
"Are you watching...Y/n?" Meliodas thought to himself as his 3000 year long burden was gone. All he had left in this world...was his friends.
"I will revive you...Y/n." Meliodas looked up at the sky that was no longer dark and grey. It was a beautiful shade of blue...peace was restored to Britannia.
