'I'm not lonely.'

That's what Jeno always told himself, walking down the streets, eating food, sitting in school and going to sleep. A phrase he told himself daily, as if to convince himself that it was true. He knew, deep down it was; in a void he couldn't reach. Every time he told himself that however, a familiar name and face imagined itself in his head. A bright smile, brown locks, golden eyes and a fill filled spirit would print itself into Jeno's mind. He hated it, he hated being reminded of him. He hated going to sleep, living, knowing that he would carry the burden his whole life. Nothing could happen to change it, and nothing would happen for him to endure it. For the pain was so harsh, he feared even thinking about it.

He'd have to though. He'd have to live everyday, carry the weight of the past and act like nothing was wrong. He didn't mind though, he deserved it. He deserved to be burdened with the pain, to take responsibility. That's what he's always thought. It was a curse from that one horrid night by the train station. The past memory clear and vivid in his mind, he could still remember the look on the boys face as he walked away.

How much he regretted it would be beyond infinity, just as saying if he had a penny for as many time he cried and regretted his words, he'd be a millionaire.

Walking down the streets, a boy with raven locks and a guitar on his back stops on the sidewalk to wait for the walk sign to turn white. The people around him were impatient, tapping their foot on the ground as they all had places to be. So many people on the phone, talking, whispering, and tapping. It made Jeno feel overwhelmed with anxiety on the inside. He wanted to shut the world out, to hear nothing but his own breathing and heartbeat. Just for a moment would cure his racing thoughts.

Looking up into the sky, a heavy weight settles in his heart feeling the cold breeze flow through him. It was that time again, where all the trees lose all their coverings and shed. He couldn't help but hate this season most, as a love story happened that shouldn't have.

'I'm not lonely.' Jeno thought to himself, looking back at the road and crossing the street with the people as the light turned white.

A lunch bell rings throughout school, and everyone grabs theirs to join their friends. Rushing out of the classroom, the classroom soon is halfway empty. All that's left is a boy with his book reading, a boy sleeping on his desk and two youngsters.

"Hey Jaemin! Let's play some basketball!" A boy with a black hair yells out across the classroom.

"I think he's asleep Chenle. Again." Another interrupts, shaking his head.

"Hey, Jaemin!" Chenle yells out to make sure, and the boy sleeping on the desk doesn't make a single movement.

With a heavy sigh Chenle stands up and grabs his basketball. "Then let's go join the team Jisung."

"Right behind ya!" Jisung calls out as they walk their way into the hallway.

After a few minutes of lunch passing, the boy who was sleeping slowly wakes up. His eyes open slowly, and he groans as realizes he's still in school. Sitting up, he stretches and gives a yawn. He looks over to see his friends, Chenle and Jisung, already gone. He knows they went to play basketball.

Getting up, he walks towards the gymnasium. He hears all the yells from teammates to others, and grunts as he walks in.

"Come to play Jae!" A boy with black locks, Mark, yells out while tossing the basketball.

"Nah, I'm going to the back to sleep." Jaemin admits, taking his way to the back doors.

"Again? What time do you go to sleep?" Chenle asks in disbelief, watching Jaemin open the door.

"Dunno, don't keep track. Anyways, bye!" Jaemin enters quickly through the doors, and closes them behind him.

He gives a sigh of relief, and then looks up in anticipation to see his favorite sleeping spot. However, he is quickly mistaken as he sees a boy already in that spot. He scoffs, walking up the stairs and sitting down silently next to the boy sleeping. He stares with furrowed eyebrows for a moment before realizing the boy was hugging an instrument. Jaemin realizes it as a guitar, and his eyebrows ease.

'Does he play?' Jaemin questions in his head.

The boy suddenly shifts, making Jaemin flinch. The other slowly sits up, rubbing his right eye. After a moment, he slowly looks over to make eye contact with Jaemin. Who tenses up as he notices the others drowsy gaze. Raven dark hair covered this boys forehead, his eyes were big and brown, his facial features looked mature however. Jaemin couldn't really tell this boys age.

"Hi." The boy suddenly greets, and Jaemin snaps out of his thoughts.

"Hi." He answers hesitantly.

A moment of silence passes and Jaemin is honestly confused. The boy didn't say anything after for a while, and they both say their in silence.

"Do you know how to fix strings on a guitar?" The boy suddenly asks, and Jaemin looks over.

"You own a guitar yet you don't know how to fix the strings?" Jaemin accidentally blurts out.

The boys face immediately dipped into shame, and Jaemin panics.

"I can fix it- I can fix it." Jaemin reassures, and the other boy raises his face to meet Jaemins gaze.

"Ok." He whispers, handing over his guitar as he moves the supply Jaemins way.

Jaemin takes the guitar in his hands, it was a red and white hue and looked used before. Jaemin started taking out all the strings, and replacing them with the new ones as the boy next to him watches in awe. He couldn't help but let his ears turn red from being watched.

Jaemin didn't know what came over him at that time and moment, but after he finished tuning the strings he let his fingers run over them. The shirt melody didn't even last 10 seconds, but he played a tune that was stuck in his head. Noticing he'd played without permission, he turned up to look at the other boy to apologize.

However, instead he felt two hands grab his collar and jerk him to face the other boy.

"Please- please teach me how to play!" The boy yelled in embarrassment.

Jaemins eyes went wide at the sudden request, and his brown orbs stared into the others galaxy ones. They seemed desperate for an answer, but Jaemin could only hear his own heartbeat in his hears. He felt his cheeks heat up in embarrassment as he bit his tongue in a split second.

"No."
