Chapter6- FUN! Until...

Sorry guys... got caught up all weekend and couldn't update but I'll try to update 2 days in a row :)

Avu POV
-- we get off in front of a huge resort which says 'Welcome to Canton Amusement Park'
Avu: whoa this place is amazing!
Sid: it's actually my first time here... but yeah it's amazing! Look at how soft fluffy and pink it looks?!
Avu: whaaat? (Looks back at his and sees him staring at a cotton candy stand...) Ughhh! Out of all the amazing things that you could look at you choose ordinary cotton candy!?
Sid: yes!
(Holding in to her hand and pulling her over as they both together run towards the cotton candy stand and wait in the line)
-- his hand intertwined in mine as he pulls me over running towards the cotton candy stand as we stand in line- him slinging a land over my shoulder and pulling me close sending chills down my neck as I stare into his brown eyes... --
Sid: Sanaaaa?
Avu: who?
Sid: Who?! (Snapping his fingers in front of her and then knocking on her head)
Sid: Sana Zubair!!! Anyone in there?
Avu: (suddenly snapping out of her sudden haze) What!
Sid: (suddenly jumping back with sudden surprise) Oh god! I thought you were dead! (Putting his hand on his forehead dramatically)
Avu: haha! Very funny! Well I'm alive... unfortunately... I was just lost in thought.!...
Sid: lost in the thought of me?
Avu: (that sends a chill down her spine but she holds back a blush) (smoothly) no!... actually I was thinking about... um... Riyaz Aly!...(pointing at a magazine behind Sid with his pic on it) (Riyaz character sketch at the end of this chapter)
Sid: him?! Why him?!
Avu: cuz... he's so Hot....... (making a silent vomiting action with her hands when Sid turned around to look at the magazine)
Sid: he is not!
Avu: he so is! (Smirking) why... are you jealous?
Sid: I am so not! And besides I'm irresistible... (now pulling her close and slinging his hands back around her neck and kinda half hugging her)
Avu: haha! Sure you are! Now let's get our cotton candy and go on the water slides!
-- I immediately regret saying that when he drops his hands from my neck and orders the cotton candy...--
Sid: which color?
Avu: blue! (Suddenly sounding super excited and squeaky like a 5 year old)
Sid: (slightly giggles at her immaturity he picks up his pink cotton candy and hands her her blue one...)
Avu: tnx...
(We finish the cotton candy as we enter the resort... and part as we go into our respective changing rooms to put on our swimsuits)
-- I walk into the changing room and leave my clothes in a random locker as I change into the swimsuit then quickly take out my phone and snap a selfie by the mirror... I can then feel many eyes on me and a few people whispering- 'is that Avneet Kaur?!' One of the younger girls even walked up to me and asked me--
Girl: OMGGG! You're the supermodel Avneet Kaur.. I'm your biggerst fan (kept rambling)
Avu: umm... no I'm not... I just look a lot like her- I'm actually Sana Zubair...
Girl: what! So you're not Avneet?
Avu: no! (Shaking her head)
Girl: yuckkk! (Making a disgusted face at Avu) for once I thought that I was looking at my role model- Queen Avneet Kaur! But No! It had to be some crappy girl named Sanda!
Avu: Sana...
Girl: whatever! (Does a dramatic hair flip and walks away)
-- Whoa! I didn't think that people could be so rude....
I walk out of the greasing room and skim the area for one very particular Siddhart, but as usual he's late- ughhh! Always!
That's when I suddenly feel a slight tap and turn around only to be splashed with a bottle full of water...--
Avu: ARE YOU KIDDING! Some of that got into my mouth!
Sid: (grinning) adorable!
Avu: I am gonna get you back for that!!!
(I chase him all the way to the  biggest water slide and we both gaze up at the beauty, I can feel his hands slung around me and pull me close... that's when I suddenly realize that his swimsuit didn't have a top- he was shirtless... this send a chill down the back of my spine...
He clearly sensed that I was uncomfortable because he dropped his hands to his sides and slightly parted--
Sid: you wanna go? (Pointing up to the top of the huge water slide)
Avu: (squinting her eyes with a competitive spirit) let's go!
-- we race each other up the never ending steps (that eventually ended) as we look down and catch our breath--
Sid: who's that's really high...
Avu: (tauntingly) scared are you?!
Sid: whoa! Caution there you don't want those long nails to chip right off do you?
Avu: haha! Very funny... and besides these nails are just 2cm! They're not gonna break... like your back when I'm done with you!
Sid: but you'll have to catch me first! (As he falls through the hole in the slide and down he goes)
-- I follow him down and we both scream... THIS FEELS AMAZINGG!!!! The slide goes on for a while in many twists and turns and we finally make a big splash into a swimming pool at the bottom... --
Avu: so I did catch you! (getting onto his back as he gives her an underwater piggyback ride- both laughing uncontrollably)
Sid: Yes... but you love me too much to kill me!
Avu: (a sudden blush showing on her face as she starts to heat up) No I do not!
Sid: I was obviously kidding!
-- that's when I head a few more mumbles from a nearby teen group- 'oh my god! That's the supermodel Avneet Kaur! She's with some hot guy... must be her boyfriend!--
Avu: (looking towards them with a questioning look) I am not!
Teens: so you're not dating him?
Avu: No I'm not Avneet Kaur!
Teens: so he's not you're boyfriend?
Avu: no I'm not!--- I mean I'm not his girlfriend and I'm also not Avneet Kaur!
Teens: oh... lame, in that case you don't deserve him... (one girl with her hair dyed in blonde walks up to us- well mainly Sid and puts her hand under his chin to raise his face to her face- )
Girl: (supposedly to Sid) I'm single... (them getting awkwardly close as she wraps her hands around his neck) how about Saturday night?
-- this sends a weird feeling in my stomach... I feel like just pushing her away and giving her a slap... then turning up and running away somewhere with Sid... away from her!- wait What the fuck! What does it matter to me if Sid wants to be with her... ugh he's just a friend... now snap back to reality--
Sid: (instantly pulling away from her) umm... no! I'm good... (smirking hard) I know that I'm irresistible but you're just not good enough... try harder next time!
--he grabs my hand as she gives me a disgusted look and walks back to her gang. Sid pulls me over as he walks me back up as I something awkward comes upon me and I feel a sudden urge to scream, or cry, or anything! I immediately let my hand loose from Sid's (maybe a little harshly)--
Sid: Sana what's wrong?
Avu: umm... oh Nothing! I'm just starving! Let's go get some food...
Sid: sure...
-- I know that he knows that I'm not OK... and I also know that he's gonna force the answer outa me and I will have to tell him... but for now it's avoidable... --
-- we get back to the changing rooms as I change back to a new set of clothes and dry my hair... then walk out to find him sitting on a bench and scrolling through his phone...--
Sid smiles as I sit down next to him... oh why does he have to be so adorable sometimes... and his wet hair just finishes the whole look...!---
Sid: so... where are we gonna eat?
Avu: umm... I'm thinking pizza...
Sid: How did you read my mind?
Avu: (smirking) I don't know... anyway, why didn't you dry your hair?
Sid: it's cuz I couldn't switch on the dryer....
Avu: what?
Sid: (flashback to the first time he had dried his hair with a dryer- he remembers leaving it switched in in turbo Hot mode and it had set the sofa on fire... Faisu had almost killed him that day with his never ending lectures...) (he shivers badly as the thought passes his head)
Avu: Jeez... chill... I don't have to know... it's fine... (dragging him over to the bike as he gets on and Avu gets on behind him... as they drive over to a restaurant to order pizza... )
-- we stop as I get off and look at my phone- 4:20pm... whoa no wonder I'm starving! That's when I open whats app-
<Aadaya:- don't you DARE eat anything- or else!
Oh shit! But I'm starving... I guess I can eat just this once.... it's not like she'll find out... (I calm down my nerves as I casually walk into the shop and Sid joins me)
-- I order a Basil cheese pizza as he takes a tomato bacon one... I get about half way through my pizza when my phone starts to ring... (oh shit!)
<Aadaya
(I pick up and gesture with my hands to stay super quiet to Sid)
Avu: hello? Ms. Aadaya...
Aadaya: where are you!
Avu: in in the library... just went for a quick jog and now I'm reading ... why?
Aadaya: u didn't eat anything did you!!
Avu: no ma'am! I did not!
Aadaya: Don't you dare! And sweetie be back by 6:00pm will ya!
Avu: yes I will be!
(Cuts the call)
(Sheesh! That was a close one!)
Sid: (his eyes brows furrowing with intensity as if he knew something that I didn't) Who was that? Aadaya who?
Avu: (shit he probably knows that that's the name of Avneet's assistant) umm... that's my tutor... Aadaya Malhotra!
Sid: ohhh....
Avu: why do you know any Aadaya?
Sid: no... never mind.... let's just eat!
Avu: (hesitantly eats the rest of her pizza as they head out)
Sid: where do you want me to drop you?
Avu: just at the park.... I can jog from there...
Sid: ok!
(The rest of the ride was smooth and we finally reach the park and it's 5:49- shit I better run!)
Sid: free this weekend?
Avu: not really... I have some work coming up... but I'll definitely text you :)! (I lied... it's just I need time for myself- to figure out my feelings... and sleep of course ;))
Sid: great! Bye...! (Just as I'm about to leave he pulls me into a big bear hug which I gladly embrace... it's not seductive, more like from a best friend to another... exactly what I need ...)
Avu: thanks... I had fun today!
Sid: We'll meet soon enough! I just know it... and besides I'm-
Avu: (rolling her eyes) you're irresistible I know!
(I give him a final goodbye as I jog home and throw all my clothes into the wash immediately then go back to my room and act casual as if nothing had happened at all today!)
