Jessica was sitting on her bed as she waited for Sam and Dean to get back from the hospital. As they were on their way back, Sam had called Jessica and told her that the man they had found in the abandoned factory was going to make it.

Jessica sighed with relief and ran a hand through her matted hair. She got up off of the bed and walked towards the bathroom. She turned on the sink and took a washcloth and drenched it in cold water. Then, Jessica took the cold cloth to her skin and began to clean up her cuts. She shut her eyes and sighed again.

"DEA—" Jessica's scream was cut off as she fell unconscious.

Jessica flinched. She looked up at her reflection. Why couldn't she remember anything about the Djinn case?!

Jessica finished cleaning her cuts and laid down on her bed. She closed her eyes and tried to remember what had happened.

The three hunters had arrived in Lawrence Texas just two days ago. Sam had gone out to get some more snacks for Dean and Jessica was laid out on her bed. Earbuds in her ears as she listened to her music.

Suddenly the motel door opened. Jessica's eyes traveled towards the person standing in the entrance and she choked on air. Then she tilted her head back and laughed.

"My god! What happened to you?"

Dean stood in the room covered head to toe in mud. He did not have a happy look on his face. "I chased after what I thought was the Djinn we were looking for. No luck there. Just some drunk bastard. We tussled for a bit and wound up taking a little mud bath."

Jessica covered her mouth as she laughed. Then, she used a fancy British accent as she spoke.

"You look absolutely fabulous, darling."

Dean looked over towards his wife and gave her a flat look. Then, he slowly made his way over towards her and held out his arms.

"NO!" Jessica scrambled off of her bed and stood up. "Do not touch me!"

Dean smirked. "Awe come on sweetheart, I just want to give you a hug."

Jessica let out a laugh. "Go take a shower."

"You're not going to join me?" Dean smiled. Jessica rolled her eyes and pushed the man towards the bathroom.

"Go."

Dean held up his hands. "Okay okay." He closed the bathroom door behind him. Water was soon turned on and Jessica went back towards her bed. She placed her earbuds in her ears and went back to listening to her music.

Jessica's eyes slowly started to close but popped open. They stared towards the motel door.

Jessica's heart was racing. She had no idea why it was, but for some reason, she sensed danger.

Jessica shrugged her shoulders and closed her eyes again. This time, she opened them just in time to see a woman with black hair hovering over her.

"DEA—" Jessica was cut off as the woman pressed a hand to the girls temple. Jessica fell unconscious and the Djinn lifted her up in her arms. Then, she took Jessica out of the motel room, leaving the door wide open.

Jessica sat up quickly and took a few deep breaths.

"Hey." Dean stood in front of Jessica now. "You okay?"

Jessica nodded her head. "Yeah. Where's Sam?"

"He's packing up the car."

Jessica nodded her head. Then she patted the spot next to her on the bed.

Dean sat down and Jessica grabbed his hand.

"You know..." Jessica swallowed the lump that formed in her throat. Her eyes shined as tears threatened to spill. "I-I didn't want to leave. It was tempting to just stay. I had Rachel and Charlie and you. We didn't have to worry about hunting anything we just lived a normal life. It was amazing." Jessica lowered her head. "But, it just didn't seem like the life I was meant to live. It didn't seem right at all."

Dean rubbed his thumb across her knuckles. "Trust me, I've been there. This happened to me once."

Jessica looked up at him. "Wait, did this happen to you when you left me at Bobby's?"

Dean nodded his head. "I'm sorry I never told you."

"I was worried sick about you Dean. I thought you were—"

Dean squeezed Jessica's hand. "Well, I'm not. I came back in one piece didn't I?"

Jessica rolled her eyes. "Yeah, I guess."

"What do you mean you guess?" Dean smiled.

Jessica placed a kiss on Deans cheek and stood up. "I think it's time we go."

Dean chuckled and stood up. Then, he followed his wife outside to the Impala.
