"Jungkook?" I questioned, completely stunned by his presence, although, it didn't really seem like Jimin was.
The room remained silent as the boys continued to stare each other down. The atmosphere turned instantly intense. It was extremely uncomfortable. I continued to stand in between them at my door, wondering when someone was going to say something.
"So, are you coming to hang out with us Hyung?" Jungkook finally asked.
I turned around to look at Jimin who looked stiff in his spot. His eyes glanced from Jungkook, to me, and back to the boy in my door before opening his mouth to speak. He seemed to be struggling to decide what he was going to do. Finally giving in, he stood up and started walking towards us.
"Yeah," He mumbled in a low voice, "Let's go."
"Hold on. We were just having a conversation. How are you going to leave in the middle of it?" I stood before Jimin, blocking his way out.
More silence. It's like he didn't know what to say. It was almost as if he was afraid to speak, which led me to believe that Jungkook was involved. I turned to face the younger boy, confirming my suspicions as I say him eyeing Jimin.
"Jungkook, what's going on?" I demanded, trying to keep my calm with a stern tone.
"I don't know what you're talking about." He shrugged.
"Fine then," I spat, harshly grabbing him by the collar of his shirt, "You can wait out there until you figure it out."
I couldn't lie. I was drunk, still probably crashing from my wired high, and suddenly, I was enraged. I don't know what Jimin knows, but I was going to find out about right now.
I shoved him straight out of my room by his shirt as he stumbled back, completely shocked. I slammed the door shut before he could say anything and turned back. Jimin shared in his dazed expression, but was reluctant to move or say anything.
"So, do you want to tell me what's going on now that your keeper is gone?" Okay, maybe I'm not as sober as I originally thought.
"He's not my keeper, Tina." He groaned out, rolling his eyes as he started walking towards my door.
"Oh, he's not?" I spat out, "Then why are you following him out instead of having this conversation with me?" I was frustrated and my voice was getting louder as he continued past me towards the door
"I shouldn't have said anything, to begin with. Just forget it." He didn't even have the decency to look at me while he spoke before he opened the door and bolted.
My mouth would have dropped to the floor if it wasn't attached to my actual head. I was still confused, but something else took over my confusion. I was livid. I don't know who Jungkook thought he was or how in the world he had any authority to disclose any information about me to Jimin.
I was still drunk, my head was pounding from coming down from the Adderall and I could only see red. I was going to kill someone. I wanted to punch Jimin for bitching out of this conversation, but I wanted to maul Jungkook right now. Between the two, I knew the decision was easy. I may not have been in the right state of mind, and this may have been the worst moment for me to act on these feelings, but hey, there's no sun out.
Fuck the professionalism. Fuck the flow.
I stormed out of my room, vision blurring into red, and found myself slamming my fist on Jungkook's door. He wasn't answering and that only infuriated me more.
