Harley leaned besides you as the two of you looked down at the city. Joker had been arrested and the only trouble in Gotham were just a few robberies taking place. Nothing that the police couldn't handle so you let them deal with them. You hated when people interfered when you didn't need help so you weren't going to intervene.
"Puddin', do you really have to go back to National City. We've only been together for an hour and I haven't seen you since last week."
You sigh and turned around to kiss the top of her head before wrapping your arm around her shoulder to hold her close.
"I'm sorry, Harley. I wish I could stay but I promised to spend some time with my sister and her friends."
"Can't I come with?"
"...Harley, you're still wanted for the crimes you used to commit with the Joker. I'm doing everything I can to clear you of any faults but it just takes time."
Harley takes your hand in her, interlock your fingers. She hated herself for putting in such a difficult place. If she had only never met Joker.
"You're right, (nickname). I guess I can wait. Just please don't make me wait another week. I hated waiting without really knowing when you would come visit."
"I promise. Kara just needed my help with her investigation. I won't take another week to come visit."
"You better. Bud and Lou miss you."
"and I miss them too."
You pull out your phone when you get a text message from your sister, asking where you are.
"I have to go. Do you want me to fly you back to your apartment?"
Harley jumps up and patiently waits for you to stand up as well so she could jump in your arms.
"Do you even have to ask? You know how much I love seeing how strong you are."
You just laugh and slowly make her way to her place.

"Finally! We've been waiting all night long. Did you bring the Aldebaran whiskey?"
You hold up the bottles and handed one to Kara.
"God, yes. We can't let them have all the fun."
Kara gives you a grin and leads you to where everyone else was sitting.
When the two of you take a seat, Alex pulls out one of the classic board games that was used for everyone to get drunk. Halfway into the game and everyone is already practically wasted. The only ones that weren't were Alex and Lena. They weren't proud of it but they had high tolerance for alcohol. While you, Kara and the rest only needed 3 shots before secrets began to spill. You might've been drunk but you were still texting Harley. You missed her and everytime you opened up a message from her made you smile.
