Penelope was in for a surprise when she found you at her desk. It had been quite a while since she had heard from you that she had honestly thought something terrible had happened.
"(y/n)! What are you doing here? How did you ever get allowed in here?"
You gave her a small smile as you stood up from your desk. Pulling out your badge, you opened it to show it to her.
"I happen to work here now."
You wince as Penelope screams in your ear as she hugs you. You weren't a hugger but you let it go just this once.
At her screams, Penelope's team rushes in with their guns, fully expecting for Penelope to literally be getting kidnapped.
"You guys! I get to work with my best friend!"

You were quick to become close friends with everyone at the BAU. Especially, JJ and Emily. There was something about them that made you want to be more open and soon found yourself talking to them about things you've never even talked to Penelope about. It wasn't hard for everyone but JJ and Emily to see that you had developed a crush on them. Penelope teased you about it but you didn't care. For the first time in forever, you had fallen in love.
