Part 33

Deep's P.O.V.

Martin and I were sitting and having lunch as I planned. "You like Arohi, don't you?" I asked him. He choked on the piece of food he was eating and I gave him a glass of water. He looked at me stunned and drank the water. "Are you alright?" I asked. He coughed and nodded. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have asked that question," I said. "It's ok sir," he said softly. "I saw that you are so concerned about her so you know....I thought...." I said. He smiled and looked at me. "It's nothing like that sir," he said. "Relax man! You can tell me!" I said. He bent his head and smiled. "I saw you, under the tree that day, with Arohi," I said. He looked at me shocked. His face turned pale. "You are a very good actor I must say. You tried to entice a simple girl for your mission," I said. His face had started to become serious. "But you see, Arohi is not that simple and innocent. Don't go by her face. She's very dangerous," I said. "She can be how dangerous, I would have captured her for Rajiv," he said showing his true colours. "But she failed your plan," I said with a sarcastic frown. I looked at his hand going into his pocket slowly to grab his gun but before him, I grabbed my gun and pointed it at him. "You were the same one with mask that day, weren't you?" I asked. He leaned back on the chair laughing. "You're too slow Mr. Raichand!" he said. He snapped his fingers two times and three men came inside and pointed their guns at me. "You kill me, they kill you," he said. "They wouldn't dare!" I said. "Oh really? Confident much?" he said. I smirked and said, "Rajiv wants my empire. He wouldn't kill me before that." I looked at the three men and said, "Drop your guns guys." They obeyed much to Martin's surprise. He stood up and turned to them. "You bastards! I have seen your loyalty! You sold yourselves to this man!" he said. I gave the three men a signal and they held onto him. He turned and looked at me as I stood up. "Let this be the first defeat to your boss," I said, "Take him away!" They dragged him outside and I pulled out my phone. I called Avinash to find out if everything was fine and he answered.

"Deep sir, Ananya has been kidnapped!" he said. I was completely blown away by this. "What!" I exclaimed, "Where are you?" "I am following the car. Don't worry. I won't let any harm come to her!" he said. "I am sending some people to help you!" I said. "No need sir. I will bring her back!" he said. "Ok then, take care of yourself," I said. He hung up. I began to get worried about this now but I have to trust Avinash. He knows what right. He will save Ananya. I ran my hand through my hair. "I have to inform Mr. Kashyap," I said and ran out of the office. I reached my building, speeding my car and ran up to the apartment. When I reached there, I entered the apartment hastily and ran inside. Mr. Kashyap who was in the kitchen looked at me worriedly and asked, "What's wrong? Wait, I'll get some water." He turned around but I held back his hand saying, "Ananya has been kidnapped." He halted and looked at me in disbelief with tears in his eyes. "But you don't worry. I promise you that she will be with you very soon. Avinash is going to bring her back!" I said. He stared at me for a while and then held his chest and fell on the ground unconscious. I immediately took him up and carried him to his bed and called the doctor. The doctor came and examined him and said, "It's a major heart attack. You must be careful. He's a heart patient." My eyes welled up. "When will he be alright?" I asked. "Only after he wakes up, we can say anything but till then, he will remain critical. I advise you to shift him to a hospital. It will be better for him to stay there," he said. "I can't doctor. His life is in danger," I said. "Well in that case, I will send a nurse over here to tend to him and if there is anything, just call me," he said. I nodded.

Avinash's P.O.V.

I was chasing the car until it began to turn dark. I finally stopped on seeing the car parked on the road which was very lonely and dismal, away from the city. I got out of the taxi and held my gun in my hand as I cautiously approached the car. I looked inside but there was no sign of anyone. I listened very attentive for any sound but all I could have heard were the crickets in the bush. I looked around and noticed something on the ground. There were some drops of blood on the ground. I stooped down and looked at it closely and then got up. I looked and saw that there was a trail of blood leading into the jungle. I followed the trail into the forest until there was no more. I looked around confused as to where to head. I pushed my gun in my pocket and looked around. There was complete darkness. Suddenly, someone came very stealthily from behind me and kicked me. I lost my balance and fell to the ground. I turned around and looked at the man. I knew him. I had seen him before in our group. This means that he was a traitor. I stood up and looked at him. He came and was about to punch me but I blocked him and held his hand. I punched his face so hard that he fell down. I took out my gun and pointed it at him but someone came again from behind me and kicked my hand away. My gun fell from my hand. I turned and looked at him but the other one got up and held me from behind. I turned and looked at Ananya. Her mouth were tied and there was a man holding onto her. She had tears flowing from her eyes and there were some blood on her neck as she looked at me scared to death. "Mr. Avinash, why have you put your life in danger for this girl? What is she to you?" one of the man asked me. I looked at him and said, "It's my duty to protect her." They all laughed. "Then protect her," he said and punched me in my stomach. Ananya made some inaudible noises with her covered mouth. The man came and rested his hand on my shoulder and asked, "Just imagine, such a beautiful girl, are you only in charge of her protection or.....is she giving you a good time...." My blood began to boil hearing his disgusting comment.
