Tekken Fanfiction Part 3

The discussion

The four of them went to the front. They felt kinda awkward, but decided to just go for it.
"These are my best students," Miss Angus said pointing towards them. "This is Shasha, Ella, Penelope and Ash."
"Wow, I never knew we were her best students," Shasha whispered to Ella. "But then again, I don't really blame her. With whacks like Benjiro in our class, of course we're one of the best!"
"I actually don't get how he even ended up in this school," Ella whispered. "Like, I thought this was a 'high performance' special school and stuff, and then there's people like Benjiro here."
"You guys are seriously gossiping when we're in front of the whole school?" Penelope chimed in. "You guys... the principal is here too, you know? And he's watching us!"
"Shoot!" Shasha whisper-shouted, turning towards the rest.
"I want you guys to meet with me after school tomorrow," Ailbert said. "Where do you wanna meet? My house or somewhere in our school?"
Shasha remembered that this was the guy that the Mishimas were spying on. She just got an opportunity to go snoop his place. And maybe she can even pay a visit to Xiaoyu.
"I think we can come to your house," Shasha said and nudged Ella. "Right, Ella?"
Ella was shocked, but managed to nod. Penelope and Ash looked at her, confused. Why did she wanna go to his home when they could meet him at school?
"A friend lives near your place and she told me about you," Shasha quickly said, noting the suspicious looks her friends gave her. "So I kinda know where you live."
"Oh okay," Ailbert said, slightly creeped out. "Is it that Chinese girl that goes to Mishima Polytechnic?"
"Yep that's the one," Shasha said with a smile. "She's my good friend."
The others agreed to go to his home. They snuck out and had a short meeting.
"Yo what was the point of that?!" Ash asked. "You really wanna go to his home?"
"Yeah like we barely know him for a few hours," Penelope added. "What's your plan?"
"Well, my friend lives in the house across from his," Shasha said. "So I was planning maybe we could... drop by?"
"Wait so your friend is his neighbour?" Penelope asked and Shasha nodded. "Wow, it's a small world, I guess."
"I is," Shasha agreed. "Anyway, I'm sure she won't mind us visiting," Shasha said. "She's a good friend."
"Oh there you are!" Miss Angus said, suddenly appearing. "Come to my office, I wanna have a short meeting with you."
The four of the, gulped and followed her to her office.
She was the vice principal so she had her own office where she could sit and do whatever she wanted to do.
She entered her office, turned her lights and air conditioner on and asked them to sit. They sat and just looked at each other.
She finally came and sat in front of them, looking all official-like, and started talking.
"This is a great opportunity for the four of you to shine," Miss Angus said solemnly. "I want you three to take care of our school name and show what you can do."
The four of them nodded.
"I don't want you to embarrass our school," Miss Angus continued. "I've given you this chance only because you are my best students, and possibly the only good once in your class."
Shasha suppressed a giggle. The first thing that came to mind when she said that was the backbenchers in their class, mainly Benjiro.
That guy was a total delinquent that had no business in this school but somehow ended up there. He bullied people for no particular reason and everyone hated him. Even his best friends. No one understood why they still stuck to him if they hated him...
He didn't dare to disturb Shasha and her friends since he heard about her victory in the King Of Iron Fist Tournament the previous year.
She was brought back to reality when Ella nudged her knee.
"You'll do good, right Shasha?" Miss Angus asked.
"Yes, ma'am!" Shasha said confidently.
"Good," Miss Angus said, relieved. "But I still don't get why you wanna go to his house. Any reason?"
"No it's just that he lives right in front of my good friend's home," Shasha said truthfully. "I was planning to go there after our meeting with him."
"Oh okay," Miss Angus said, buying her reasoning. "Well she must be a really good friend of yours, then?"
"Yess, Miss," Shasha said. "She's one of my best friends, besides Ella."
Ella was glad to hear the last bit.
"Alright, go back to class now," Miss Angus said. "Mr Smith would kill you if you don't go back to class..."
They thanked her and quickly left. They had a discussion on the way to class.
"Wow, we must be famous," Ash said, amused. "The vice principal recommended us to meet with a very good investigative journalist. Imagine that!"
"Imagine that," Penelope sang.
"I see what you're getting at," Shasha said with a laugh. "I see lots of references to that song in your books..."
"Well, I'm yours too," Penelope said with a smirk. "I always see stuff like 'Got it, got it, yes I got it,' in your book..."
They laughed and went back to class. The teacher hadn't arrived yet and Shasha started texting the others about what was going on.
Shasha: Ailbert came to our school for a talk
Adam: Who that?
Nina: U're so lame
Steve: U dunno him?
Adam: Nope
Anna: So outdated...
Adam: Have u guys been doing smth behind my back?
Nina: 🤦🏼‍♀️
Adam: What?
Shasha: That's the guy that Jin's been spying on
Shasha: Or at least...
Nina: Kuni n Josie are spying on him
Adam: Oh that guy
Adam: That Scots guy right?
Steve: Oh look he remembers
Anna: 😂😂
Shasha: Yeah n he wanted four people to do an assignment for him
Nina: Let me guess
Nina: U and Ella are 2 of the four?
Shasha: Yep
Anna: Oh wow...
Shasha: Ikr!
Shasha: I said we should meet at his home
Shasha: N said it's because we could go to Xiao's
Steve: But why?
Shasha: For fun
Shasha: I wanna see his house lol
Nina: What did the others say?
Shasha: They agreed
Shasha: Xiao won't mind if we drop in right?
Anna: Nah
Anna: She would be only to happy to have company
Shasha: Great!
Nina: I was kinda expecting you to say
Shasha: Say what
Nina: EXCELLENT!
Anna: U're so mean...
Steve: It's a fact
Steve: It's a disease!
Anna: Yeah whatever
Adam: But he's the one that kinda helped us reunite
Adam: 😏😏
Nina: Fine whatever
Nina: He even sent me on a vacation to The Bahamas when I killed John Nelson, ya know?
Steve: U're so mean
Nina: ??
Steve: U just left me to deal with those gunmen n went for a holiday?!
Nina: Oh come on
Nina: I made sure u escaped safely too!
Shasha: Aww
Anna: So cute!
Adam: This is beautiful
