All sorts of random emotions were flying through Lucette's head. Firstly, the whole thing with Corvus.. That was hella weird. Secondly, the sudden tree that burst in through her window, which surprised her, yes, but she was still in shock from the previous stuff. Then, there was Corvus' sudden outburst, where he was actually gripping her just a bit too hard. But now? There was the sudden appearance of the guy in red that she met in France... What was his name? Nocte? Yeah, that was it!

"Well, that is no way to treat a lady now, is it?"

Nocte just stood there, casually standing beside the tree, like it was just normal. She was about to say something, but Corvus beat her to it.

"What do you want?"

Corvus let go of Lucette, and faced the newcomer, his eyes narrowing in annoyance.

"Ah, so rude..."

"I'll ask again... what do you want?"

She watched, as the man in red rolled his eyes and strode over to them. She watched, as he flicked Corvus' nose and grinned a bit, mischievously.

"Be a mouse, and squeak off!"

Lucette's eyes went wide as Corvus disappeared and, in his place, was a tiny dark brown mouse.

"That was uncalled for!"

The tiny mouse was waving his arms in the air in annoyance. The man in red just smiled at him, grabbed him by the neck, and dangled him in front of his face.

"You're much more manageable like this..."

The little mouse was trying his hardest to hit him, but his small arms did not reach.

"Now, be a good boy and sit there..." He plopped Corvus into a nearby empty vase. She watched, as the mouse sat at the bottom of the vase, with his small arms folded. "Ah, it's for your own good." Nocte lightly tapped on the vase with his knuckle.

"Excuse me.... Who are you exactly?" Lucette really had to ask him, she knew his name and, well, some things that Ichthys told her. But him appearing at her house was just weird.

"Hmm?" His attention turned to her and he smiled. "Haven't I already introduced myself to you?" He straightened himself up and looked at her, his green eyes felt like he was looking deep into her soul.

"Well...Yes..But why HERE?"

"Ah... That... A sudden power surge happened so I got curious. Then I witnessed this guy..." He tapped on the vase again. ''Manhandling a lady. So, what's a gentleman gotta do?"

"You're no gentleman!"

"Ah, shoosh you. The adults are talking!" Nocte moved himself, so he was directly in front of the vase.

"Power surge?"

"Yes, that..." He indicated, with his head, to the tree that, surprisingly, didn't make as much mess as she thought. But it was still a big tree in her observatory.

"Ummm...."

"Hmmm?"

She hung her head low, she had NO idea what was going on.. She thought she did... maybe... but oh hell no she didn't. It wasn't until she smelt a very strong smell of vanilla up her nose, she lifted her head up.

"Ah?!"

Jumping back slightly, the man Nocte was right in her personal space, staring very intently at her face.

"Intriguing..."

"Err... What?"

She watched as he straightened himself up a bit, and scratched his chin.
