15. Ichthys' Story

Lucette left the observatory, on the hunt for a tiny, dark mouse. In all honesty, she had no idea where to even start looking. Although, as long as he didn't go outside, everything would be fine. One of her neighbours' cats really loves bringing mice home... However, considering who this mouse was, it is highly doubtful that he would end up being one of them... But still, it's better to find him anyway.

She searched high and low but didn't find him anywhere downstairs. The only other places to look were upstairs. So, knowing that, she made her way upstairs. However, halfway up the stairs, she felt something odd. To be honest, she felt this feeling before. It was a few days ago when Mr Cartwright told her, Mai and Eros to stay after school. She got this very odd feeling, and that was when she found the bird that bit Mai.... Wait... That bird... Was that Corvus all along? Closing her eyes on the stairs, she tried to pinpoint the feeling. Immediately, she heard what sounded like a small heartbeat. Smiling, she made her way to the source of the noise. Opening her bedroom door, she made a beeline to her bed and looked under it.

Lo and behold, sitting under her bed, was a little dark brown mouse.

"There you are."

The mouse moved his head, and she saw him narrow his little eyes. Even in his mouse form, he still retained the blue and green eye colour.

"How did you find me?"

In truth, Lucette couldn't explain it. It was becoming a common occurrence, but at least she had some standing with this little thing of hers.

"I just listened, and then I found you!"

"What are you on about?"

"Would you at least come out from under there?"

"No."

"Seriously?"

"Yep."

She watched, as he sat down and folded his little arms again. Lucette noted that he was extremely stubborn, though he was also very adorable as a mouse.

"Well, ok, but I'm going to sit here..."

She moved, so her back was perched up on the bed. Not the most comfortable of positions, but it would have to do.

"Do what you want..."

She heard him say from under the bed. She couldn't see him, but she knew that he didn't move.

"On how I found you. I just had a feeling, I listened to that feeling, and instantly found you. However, I didn't get it when I was downstairs so probably a short range."

"Out of everything today. I believe anything."

Ah... He must be referring back to what happened. Yeah that was weird... However, she told herself she was going to completely forget that ever happened, since she really DID not want to make it a habit of making out with guys she's not actually dating...

"A few days ago,were you in a bush?"

"I've been to many places..."

Ah, back to his usual irritating self...

"Were you that bird in a bush? Did you bite my friend?"

"You mean the loud, annoying one? Then yes. She deserved it."

HAH! So it was him....Though it didn't really answer many questions...

"Though, I kind of ......liked...... you watching me..."

"Pardon?"

"I kind of liked biting her."

That is so NOT what he said before, but he mumbled it so she could barely hear it...
