As Lucette opened her back door, the voices were much clearer now, and they sounded like they were coming from the living room. Heading straight there, she is met with Ichthys, who is standing there looking perplexed, but Corvus was nowhere in sight; bird form or not.

"Erm.... What's going on?" She asked Ichthys as he turned to look at her, and scratched his head.

"I may have forgotten his... Problem..."

Lucette raised an eyebrow. "Problem?"

"Yeah..." She watched him as he bent over and pulled something out, that was stuffed in the sofa. As she got closer, she noticed it was the little crow, but he was mumbling unknown words. "Lightweight, I say..."

"Errrr.... What did you do to him?"

"Nothing.... Well..." His eyes wandered to the coffee table, and as Lucette followed his line of sight, she saw an empty bag of gummy bears.

"Is he on a sugar high?" She stopped for a moment. "He has a sugar high?"

"Well....." Ichthys placed the bird back on the sofa trying to make him stand, but he just falls over and just lays there. "He has a problem with..... Gummy bears.. I think you can say it's what you humans call... Drunk?" He straightens himself up and shrugs. "I kind of.. Forgot... I didn't realise until he started acting funny half way through the bag.."

Lucette looked at the bag again, and it was clearly empty..

"Well, ok, maybe I did ignore him going funny and still stuffed him with them..."

"Ok... Ok... Let me get this straight.. You fed him those gummy bears and he... what? Gets heavily drunk on them?" She looked at the bird on the sofa, and he had rolled onto his back with his wings spread out wide, still mumbling. "That's more than drunk.."

"Well, I don't know how to explain it.." He lent down and, with a finger, poked the bird's belly. "He doesn't eat anything born from this world... Even if it's man made... I mean, well, he can.. he just chooses not too.. but those little sweet bears? They just make him go like this..."

"Looks like you tried to kill him!" Lucette couldn't help but find the funny side. Corvus always tends to act very patronising, so seeing him like this, even as a bird, was actually kind of funny.

"Well...." Ichthys stopped poking the bird's belly, and stood up straight again. "When he comes to, he probably thinks I did try to... So I'm going to get an earful..." He looks down at the bird again. "An earful I choose to ignore, however..." He turned his head towards Lucette and smiled a bit mischievously, she still could not fully understand these two characters' dynamics...

"So... what do we.... Do with him?"

"Ah, leave him, he'll probably sleep it off..."

"Probably?"

Ichthys doesn't reply and just shrugs.

"You would make a terrible babysitter..."

Ichthys beamed at her, as she shook her head slightly. She quickly thought that it would be best to separate these two. As she had the strangest feeling he wouldn't leave the 'recovering' Corvus alone.

"You could just leave him there..." Ichthys said as she scooped the drunk bird in her hands.

"Perhaps, but it's warmer in that sleeping spot he's been using..."

Ichthys looked at her like she said something strange, and he just shrugged and slumped onto the sofa.

"Prime time for TV!" He said as he grabbed the remote and turned the TV on.
