Later that day, Tre took Nicole and KJ out to get ice cream from the mall.
"So, what I miss?", Tre asked.
"Nothing that isn't any of you business", Nicole said.
"Must have been a lot", Tre said.
"No. Not that I know of", Nicole said.
"Oh", Tre said.
"Daddy", KJ said.
"What's up?", Tre asked.
"Grandpa and grandma were fighting", KJ said.
Nicole made a face.
"Fighting?", Tre said.
"Yea. In grandpa's room and the were naked", KJ said.
Nicole covered her mouth. "Oh my gosh", she said. "He must've walked in on them"
"Yo parents were-"
"Don't say it. Please", Nicole said.
Tre started laughing.
"It's not funny", Nicole said.
Tre continued to laugh.
KJ started laughing too just because Tre was laughing.
"What's funny KJ?", Nicole asked.
KJ continued to laugh with Tre.
"He's been around you too much", Nicole said as she got up. "I gotta use the bathroom"
"KJ, do you have to use the bathroom?", Tre asked.
KJ shook his head. "No", he replied.
"Okay", Tre said.
Nicole walked toward the bathroom and as she did that a girl came up to Tre.
"Hey stranger", she said.
Tre looked at her. "Oh what's up?", he said.
She was his ex.
"I just saw you over here and I thought I'd say hey to you and your cute little friend", she said as she looked at KJ.
Tre looked backed toward the restroom.
"Don't worry. I didn't wanna interrupt you and her so I just came while she left to go to the bathroom", she said. "How's school?"
"It's fine, Zee", he said. "You can go now"
"She got you that scared? Or is she the jealous type?", she asked.
Tre shook his head.
"Now I'm seeing why we broke up. Long distance wasn't the problem", Azaria said.
"Zee, it wasn't like that". Tre said.
"It was and I could tell that you were never over her", Azaria said. "You guys are cute together"
"Thanks", Tre said.
"Just wish you were honest", Azaria said. "That's all I came over here for. Just wanted some honesty but I guess I'm not going to get that, huh?"
Tre looked down.
"But, I'll get going. It was nice seeing you", she said.
Tre nods. "Okay, bye", he said.
She walked away and Tre looked back at her leeavinh.
She looked back at him but he looked away. Before Azaria turned back around, she bumped into Nicole.
