Later on that night...
Jakobi stands up. "Bruh where he at?", Jakobi said.
"You don't think anything bad happened right?", Clarissa asked.
"...I don't know but I'm about to find out", Jakobi said.
Nicole came downstairs as Jakobi started putting his shoes on.
"Where are you going?", Nicole asked.
"Out", Jakobi said.
"Dad said don't leave", Nicole said.
"Well dad ain't back", Jakobi said. "I'm not about to sit here and wait around from him to be another Jamal"
Nicole got quiet.
"Who is Jamal?", Clarissa asked.
"Our step dad. He got shot", Nicole said.
"...I don't mean any harm but what about you Kobi?"Clarissa asked.
"I don't mean any harm but this ain't your business", Jakobi said.
"Don't talk to her like that", Nicole said.
"I don't think what she says to me and what I say to her is your business either, Nicole", Jakobi said.
Jakobi grabbed his jacket and walked outside.
Nicole shook her head.
"I'm sorry about my brother", Nicole said.
"He gets in his moods sometimes...that's just Jakobi", Clarissa said.
"Yea but if you let him continue to do that, it'll be worst", Nicole said.
Clarissa didn't say anything.
"...no offense but what do you see in him?", Nicole asked. "You seem so opposite from him"
"...I don't know...maybe he changed from when you last saw him. He isn't all that bad", Clarissa said.
Nicole didn't say anything.
"My parents weren't the best...or should I say mom. I didn't know my dad", Clarissa said. "I never really had anybody care about me like Jakobi does"
Suddenly, the door opens and Jakobi gets pushed in the house.
"I told yo ass to stay put", Josh said.
"Come on dad. Chill out", Jakobi said.
"Boy don't talk to your dad like that", G said.
Clarissa looked at G. She knew he was her dad, due to pictures seen in the past.
"Show some respect", G said.
"It's alright G. He'll learn", Josh said. "One day, he'll get that same energy from his kids"
G looks at Clarissa who was holding Payton.
"Kobi, you got a baby?", G asked.
"Yea", Jakobi replied.
"Wow", G said.
"And this is my girlfriend, Clarissa", Jakobi said.
"Nice to meet you", G said.
"Nice- nice to meet you too", Clarissa said.
Josh looked at Clarissa then back at G.
"But I'm gonna head out", G said. "Y'all two need to be good"
