The next morning, we all met up at Scott's house. He was currently visiting Kira, so we were all waiting around his house patiently.
Lydia and Mason were upstairs with Corey, another teenager revealed to be a Chimera. I, on the other hand, remained downstairs with Stiles, Isaac, Malia and Theo. There wasn't much conversation happening between us, most of us just anxious to hear what was going on with Kira.
All we knew so far, was that when Melissa had returned home last night, a body was pinned to her table. And what was even more concerning, was the fact that what was keeping her there, was Kira's belt sword.
The girl had apparently been wandering down the highway when Hayden's deputy sister had picked her up and arrested her. Hopefully, when Scott showed up, he had some more insight into what was going to happen to Kira. That was if it was she who killed that girl.
When Scott finally arrived, he walked with determination. His face was serious, his feet not slowing down for a moment.
"Hey, is Kira okay?" Stiles asked as Scott got closer.
The boy didn't answer, just walked straight past all of us and headed upstairs. What was going on with him?
"Scott?" Theo asked, but again, no response.
We all watched as he went upstairs, unsure of what to do. "Should we follow him?" Isaac asked.
"Something is definitely wrong," I said. "C'mon."
I began to walk, the other four following me. We went upstairs, going into Scott's bedroom. We all stopped in the doorway, surveying the scene before us.
Corey was sitting on Scott's bed, with Scott standing before him. He had his hand behind the boy's neck, Corey's eyes shut, and Scott's squinting in focus. Scott had put his claws into the boy's neck, just like what Peter had done to Isaac.
"Don't get too close," Lydia warned everyone.
"What is he doing?" Theo asked, watching Scott carefully. Apparently, he was the only one who hadn't seen or heard of this before.
Lydia looked over to him, before turning back to Scott. "Tapping into Corey's memories."
"It's something only an Alpha can usually do," I added, thinking back to how Peter had nearly left Isaac comatose.
Theo stepped to the right, examining what was happening from a different angle. "Is it as dangerous as it looks?"
"Probably more," Stiles answered.
Mason seemed to grow more concerned after hearing this, eyes not leaving Corey. "Does anyone know if it's working?"
Isaac shrugged, "Speaking from experience, it's just something you have to wait out. No way of telling until he takes out the claws."
