(Y/N) Pov

Lockhart was trying to keep his face calm so the fact that he was scared wouldn't come up.

Lockhart: Very well. Uh, I'll just be in my office getting... Getting ready.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is what happens when you lie, he said that he knew all along were the basilisk was hiding and that lie he told lead to this moment, and apparently, not satisfied with the outcome he told another big lie, he won't be getting ready in his office, no, he will probably hide like the coward he actually is and leave the girl that was taken to die, actually he would unconsciously leave the three of us to save the girl, cause there's no way we would leave someone to die like that.

Madam Pompfrey: Who is it that the monster's taken, Minerva?

McGonagall: Ginny Weasley.

Harry was shocked while Ron was scared for his sister's life. I, on the other hand was intrigued, the monster has only been petrifying muggle born students so why would he take a pureblood student all of a sudden.

It didn't make any sense to me, did she have something to do with all of this and that's why she was taken or did the monster's master decided to go after purebloods, that would go against Salazar Slytherin's ideal for the students that should attend Hogwarts but these were the only ideas that I could come up with, that could at least explain a little of all this madness.

Ron: Ginny.

We made our way to Lockhart's office, Harry was convinced that he could actually do something about this, but I can't really believe that, this man didn't teach us anything useful during this whole year and Harry thinks that he can deal with a basilisk, please.

Harry: Lockhart may be useless, but he's going to try and get into the Chamber. At least we can tell him what we know!

(Y/N): No, he's not. You said it yourself, he's useless. Coming here is just a waist of time.

Ron nodded, he knew I was right, and he also knew that if we wasted a lot of time here, there was no way of knowing what could happen to Ginny.

Harry continued to run to the stairs to Lockhart's office without looking back to see Ron's reaction to what I said.

Harry: Professor, we have some information for you.

Lockhart was packing his things, Harry was confused and I don't get why, did he seriously thought that he was going to try and do something about this situation cause if he did than he was more of an idiot than I thought.

Harry: Are you going somewhere?

(Y/N): Of course he is, you bloody moron! And if you listened to other people we wouldn't be here right now.

Lockhart: Yh, well, yes. Um... Urgent call. Unavoidable, uh... Got to go.

(Y/N): See, I told you! This man is useless in every meaning of the word. Now can we go find the entrance to the Chamber so we can save Ginny?

Ron: I agree with her, Harry.

Harry: Wait, he will save Ginny, he has to.

Lockhart: Well... Um... As to that, most unfortunate. No one regrets more than I.

Ron: You're the Defense Against The Dark Arts Teacher. You can't go now.

(Y/N): Yes, and I wonder when will Dumbledore see that Snape is the more suitable for that position.

Lockhart: Well, I must say, when I took the job, there was nothing in the job description about...

Harry: You're running away?

At this point I was getting tired so I just sat down on a table, those two were only making questions that we already knew the answers to.

(Y/N): I thought that was clear, you bloody idiot.

Harry: But how can he? After all that stuff you did in your books?

I rolled my eyes, can't Harry understand that if Lockhart actually did the things he says he did in he's books, that he would be a better Defense Against The Dark Arts teacher.

Lockhart: Books can be misleading.

Harry: You wrote them!

(Y/N): You know just because he wrote some books were he killed a lot of monsters doesn't mean that he actually did it in real life.

Lockhart: Your sister understands, you should start thinking like her, use your common sense! My books wouldn't have sold half as well if people didn't think I'd done all those things!

Harry: You're a fraud. You've just been taking credit for what other wizards have done.

(Y/N): Yes, well, tell us something we didn't know already. Is there anything you can do?

Lockhart: Yes. Now you mention it. I'm rather gifted with memory charms. Otherwise, you see, all those wizards would have gone blabbing, and I'd never have sold another book. In fact, uh... I'm going to have to do the same to you.

This man was so dumb that he actually told us what he going to do without having his wand near him, he went to get it but when he turned around the three of us already had our wands pointed at him.

Harry: Don't even think about it.

Lockhart dropped his wand and we went to see Moaning Myrtle.

Myrtle: Oh, who's there?
Oh! Hello (Y/N), Harry. What do you want?

She came to me and smiled, I smiled back, she was sweet when she wasn't upset.

(Y/N): I'm sorry Myrtle, but we came to ask how you died.

Myrtle: Oh, it was dreadful. It happened right here in this very cubicle. I'd hidden because Oliver Hornby was teasing me about my glasses. I was crying... And then I heard somebody come in.

Harry : Who was it, Myrtle?

Myrtle: I don't know. I was distraught! But they said something funny, a kind of made-up language, and I realized it was a boy speaking, so I unlocked the door to tell him to go away, and I died.

Harry: Just like that? How?

This guy was so insensible, asking someone how they died without showing a bit of emotion.

Myrtle: I just remember seeing a pair of great, big, yellow eyes... Over there by that sink.

She pointed to that sink and went away.

(Y/N): Thank you, Myrtle.

She just waved her hand and went back to her cubicle. Harry and I started examining the sink, when I found a tap with a serpent on it.

(Y/N): I found it. I think this is the entrance to the Chamber of Secrets.

Ron: Say something. Say something in Parseltoungue.

I was about to speak but Harry pushed me to the side roughly and I would of have fell and hurt myself if it wasn't for Ron. I glared at Harry and was about to grab my wand and point it at him when Ron grabbed my hand and shook his head.

Ron: It's not worth it.

Harry said something in Parseltoungue but just like before it was weird hearing it come out of his mouth. There was a rumbling sound and the sinks moved making a hole appear underneath the place where the sinks were before.

My instincts were telling me that I would find much more in there than I could ever imagine.
