Chapter 44- Normal? This is all just normal?!
#The ugly drama behind the scenes, the unknown side of a film crew.#

The account name for the poster was Verity and was not a random throwaway account but a trustworthy reporting account that has been in existence for more than ten years. It specializes in revealing the dirtiest secrets of the entertainment circle. Of course, there might be some falsehoods in their posts but people like gossip and this account had the same amount of followers as some small-time stars.

The account was trending in the searches and its hashtag was being reposted constantly. Wen Jiexi bit her lip anxiously as she read the post:

OP (Original Poster): The sentence above is the truth, I have pictures as proof.

This is a set of photos that were sent to me by accident. I investigated the matter behind the photos and found that all of it was true. This is what happens to small-time artists among a large crew….

Then they proceeded to write about their personal opinions and then attached several photos with a caption for each one. Although the people in the photos were blurred out, the background images were quite clear. The first picture was when Ye Xinxin had passed out during the shooting of the last scene. Whether it was intentional or not, the protagonist was Ye Xinxin and several people with their backs to her as they stood around her. It was when they were discussing the problem with the swords but from this angle, it looked like they were crew members that didn’t care about the well-being of their artists.

The second picture was of a girl being locked in a room while she was screaming. The caption was incriminating: The crew is actually imprisoning artists? From what I can see it seems that they don’t care about an artist’s freedom or life! This is a crime! I think this crew believes that just because they have a strong backer, they can be so lawless.

One by one, similar photos that seemingly revealed the crew’s inhumanity were revealed and the one and only victim was Ye Xinxin.

The comments below were in a frenzy:

Comment #1: Hey, hey, hey, this is too much, right? Do artists not have rights either? Who let you guys do this?! To engage in imprisonment and abuse and then ignore it…tsk, tsk, who will dare film with this crew ever again?

Comment #2: According to inside information, this crew seems to be under the ownership of Xingle. I think their film is called: “The Immortal meets the Demon”? It’s a Xianxia drama. Alas, they are like a behemoth to us civilians, we cannot afford to offend them and can only suffer silently.

Comment #3: What kind of nonsense is this, how can a big company do this? I will boycott this drama! This old man will not watch it!

Comment #4: I agree with the comment above. How could a film produced by such a blackhearted crew be any good?

These one-sided comments spread across the entire internet and even Xingle’s official Weibo was full of the same scolding comments but the company made no response.

“Why isn’t the company responding? If they continue to scold us, the crew won’t be able to continue shooting.” Wen Jiexi frowned as she read the comments. Many people have already made plans to visit the shooting site and protest.

“Relax, this is more or less just trolls who have been bought and paid to write comments like these. So what if these pictures are real? First, the person who sent the pictures is liable to be sued for violating terms of the agreement and sending out these pictures to the media. Second, the public are not idiots. Most of the people in the photos are in costumes and so one can tell these people were just acting. The credibility is not high and it’s just a bunch of people talking about it for fun.” Su Chenyu explained while at the same time she sent a text message to Wen Linshu who replied back,
