Ch.90- Come on, time for mutually assured destruction?!
In Xingle Company’s President office, a thunderous voice rang out,

“Gahhhh! Su Chenyu! How dare you! How dare you eat my dear little sister like this! Ahhhhhhh!” 

Long Huiguang’s face twisted in embarrassment at the howling in the office behind her and stretched out an arm to block the visitor that tried to exit the elevator. She reached out another hand to grab the documents in the visitor’s hands,

“Please wait, the President is busy right now. Please come back later.”

“Huh? But we always hold our meetings around this time in the past….” The manager looked at Long Huiguang in confusion. Ever since he started working here, he always handed in the reports to the President  at this time every week. This was a well established practice that pertained to major events in the company. The President has never missed a single one before, so what was wrong with him today?

Unfortunately, the manager could not finish his words as he was pushed back into the elevator by Long Huiguang who wore a dark expression on her face.

“Don’t worry about it, I’ll make sure to tell the President later. When he feels like taking care of this matter, I’ll come looking for you. Don’t worry, the President will not blame you. Also, if you could help me notify the others, that would be great, The President is currently indisposed and cannot meet other people. Please wait half an hour….no, one hour and then I’ll update you.” Long Huiguang tried to persuade the other person to leave while desperately trying to retain the President’s precarious image.

“Oh….”  The manager, who had been pushed into the elevator, watched as the door closed and Long Huiguang waved at him as the elevator started to move. He couldn’t do anything and only stood there in a daze. What is going on today? Did Huiguang eat the wrong medicine today? Or is there really something important the President has to deal with?

The elevator opened again and the manager scratched his head,

“I’d better inform the others. Huiguang looks very anxious today.”

Ten minutes had passed and seeing that no one else had come up, Long Huiguang breathed a sigh of relief. It seemed that the manager did his job. She looked and thought about hanging up a sign that said 「Closed for Today」on the glass door. Then she just sighed and knocked on the office door.

“Come in.” After a while, a response finally came from inside the office.

Long Huiguang opened the door cautiously, fearing that the current angry president would throw something at her in anger and then do it again when he misses. Just thinking about it made her shudder in fear. Hmmm, other than the documents and files scattered on the floor, which will be cleaned up by her later, everything else was still perfectly intact.

“Why do you look like you’ve seen a ghost? What is it? Am I that scary to you?” Wen Linshu said angrily.

“Ahem…Of course not…” Long Huiguang opened the door, tidied up her clothes, and said with a dry cough.

“Spit it out then. I want to get out of here as soon as possible.” Wen Linshu said and took a sip of water from his cup on the table. His furrowed brows revealed his unhappy mood and he picked up his jacket that laid on the side along with his keys and phone. He stood up and prepared to leave.

“But President, usually at this time the financial statements are delivered to be looked over by you personally. Earlier since you were busy with…important matters, I had to turn down the manager that usually delivers the report and told them to come back later.” Long Huiguang said, wiping the sweat oozing from her forehead. She didn’t know exactly what Wen Linshu saw, that the workaholic would willingly leave the company like this, but the statements must be processed. She can’t let him delay other people’s work because of personal matters! The manager would have to work overtime and wait for the President to come back!
