Zach sat in the hospital bed holding his beautiful baby boy, Benjamin Roth Herron. As much as Zach hated Jonah for leaving him and their baby, he still missed him just as much, so he decided to give his baby Jonah's middle name.

Zach's family sat around him, admiring the interaction between Zach and Benji, which Zach decided would be his nickname.

"I'm so proud of you Zach, you've done amazing so far and you're going to do amazing," Myta said to her son. Zach's eyes teared up.

"Thanks momma, I just wish he was here with me," Zach said, keeping his eyes on Benji to avoid the sad stares of his family.

"I know sweetie, but you'll be just fine without him," Myta reassured the boy. Zach just shrugged and nodded.

"I guess."

Then, Zach's doctor walked in.

"I'm not interrupting anything, am I?" Dr Rose asked.

"No, not at all," Zach replied, giving her a soft smile. She smiled and nodded.

"Okay, I'm just going to check your blood pressure and see how Benji's doing, if everything is okay then you can head home!"

"Okay, great."

Dr Rose brought the blood pressure machine over to Zach, Zach handed Benji to his mom before allowing Dr Rose to put the strap on his arm. She quickly took his blood pressure before doing a quick physical exam on Benji. The baby was handed back to Zach before Dr Rose gave him her final conclusion.

"You guys are both doing great! But make sure you take it easy for the next few days Zach, your stomach will most likely hurt quite a bit from the c-section and your body will be adjusting to not having as much weight in your stomach," Dr Rose explained.

"Okay, thank you," Zach agreed.

"You're welcome! I'll sign you out so you're free to go."

"Thank you."

"No problem, congratulations."

Dr Rose left the room and his mom began packing his things.

"Mom, I can pack up, it's not a big deal."

"No no, you relax with Benji, I got it hun," Myta argued. Zach just sighed and nodded.

Myta finished packing Zach's things so she instructed Reese, Ryan, and Josh to leave the room so Zach could change.

Zach handed Benji to his mom and Myta got him situated in the car seat, then she got his clothing out of his hospital bag and handed it to him.

"Do you need help changing?" Myta questioned.

"No, I'll be okay. Go wait with the family, I'll bring Benji out in a minute," Zach said. Myta nodded before hesitantly leaving the room.
