"Would you please just listen to me!" Daniel shouted at his older husband.

"I swear to god Daniel, I've been listening to you this whole fucking time," Jonah argued.

"Then why don't you understand yet? I'm not fucking ready for a family. I need some more time with you before we add another person to our family."

"Why do you need more time with me? Do you not trust me to be a father? Do you not want kids with me Daniel? Tell me."

"I'm just not ready. I'm still so young Jonah, and you are too, we still have many years to start a family, we just got married a year ago. Why are you in such a rush? I don't get it!" Daniel was on the verge of tears, and Jonah was just even more frustrated.

"Because I want kids Daniel. You're so fucking insensitive sometimes, you need to think about me as well. But I think we just need some time alone first," Jonah shouted. He grabbed his jacket and slipped it on before opening the door. He heard Daniel pleading for him to stay, but he ignored them and left anyway.

He got into the driver seat of his grey car and pulled out of the driveway. He felt bad for leaving Daniel, but he knew they needed some time to cool down and think things over before apologizing to one another.

Jonah just took a drive downtown, he listened to the local radio station and took in the city's lights and beauty.

It was about two hours later when Jonah decided to head home. He knew he had to apologize to his husband and tell him that it was okay to not be ready. After a lot of thought he felt extremely bad about himself for pressuring Daniel into something so big.

As he arrived at the house he frowned when he saw all of the lights off, Daniel had probably gone to bed.

He turned his keys and pulled them out of the slot before beginning to walk into the house.

He was surprised to see the door unlocked, Daniel never went to bed without locking the door.

He took off his jacket and hung it up, quickly flicking the light on before shutting the front door.

"Dani baby?" Jonah called out. He didn't hear a reply, so he decided to go upstairs and check the bedroom. He began to worry when he didn't see Daniel in the bedroom. "Daniel?" Jonah shouted out.

He started to pick up his speed in walking as he searched the house, he didn't find Daniel anywhere. He pulled out his phone and pulled up the contact 'babyboy🥺❤️' before calling him.

It went to voicemail.

Jonah began panicking, he knew something was wrong. Even after an argument, Daniel always picked up his phone when Jonah called.

He ran into the kitchen as he called Daniel again. He got no answer. He sent him a few texts saying 'are you okay' and 'where are you?'
