Daniel was in a sad mood, and he didn't know why. He had gotten enough sleep and his boyfriend, Corbyn, was with him all day. He made his way back to his bedroom from the bathroom and laid back down beside Corbyn. Corbyn played the movie on the tv and let Daniel cuddle into him.
"You okay love? You seem dull," Corbyn asked while gently caressing Daniel's face.
"I'm fine Corbs," Daniel replied, a fake smile spread across his face.
"I know that smile, it's not real bub. What's wrong?" Corbyn asked. That made Daniel tear up, he didn't know what was wrong with him. Tears started falling down Daniel's soft cheeks and it became a full sob. "I made my baby cry!"
"It's n-not you bean," Daniel sobbed. Corbyn frowned and pulled the smaller boy into his chest. Daniel cuddled into Corbyn for warmth and comfort.
"Shh Baby, it's alright," Corbyn soothed quietly. Daniel slowly took shaky breaths, attempting to calm down. He hated being upset, he felt weak and he didn't want Corbyn to hate him for that.
Eventually Daniel was calm and just letting out sad sighs into Corbyn's chest. "Do you want to talk love?" Corbyn asked softly. Daniel shrugged his shoulders. "Baby, I just want to help you, talk to me love."
Daniel sighed knowing he had no way out of it. He sat up and Corbyn quickly followed his actions. Corbyn held Daniel's small hands in his large ones and kissed the back of them. "Talk to me angel, what's up?"
"I don't know Corbs. I just haven't been happy recently. I can't think of a reason why," Daniel said, feeling slightly ashamed of himself.
"Aw bub, it's okay to feel like that. That happens to everyone. But I'm always going to be here for you, whether you need a shoulder to cry on or a boyfriend to cuddle with, or even just someone to talk to. I'm here baby, I'm here," Corbyn said gently. Daniel smiled and straddled Corbyn's waist. He hugged the older boy and breathed in his scent with a small smile.
"I love you Corby," Daniel sighed happily.
"I love you too Dani," Corbyn replied, "now, let's get back to the movie, yeah?"
Daniel nodded then quickly got under the covers again. Corbyn followed and cuddled into the small boy.
Daniel closed his eyes with a smile. What an amazing boyfriend of his.
