Corbyn walked into his house exhausted from his long, busy day at work. He put his briefcase on the ground then hung up his jacket and took off his shoes.

"Corby!" Daniel, Corbyn's husband, exclaimed. He came running over to Corbyn and hugged him. Corbyn thought he looked gorgeous, he was wearing one of his hoodies with short shorts on underneath.

"Hi baby," Corbyn sighed. Daniel pulled away from the hug and caressed Corbyn's face.

"What's wrong Corbs?" Daniel asked sweetly.

"Nothing angel. I just need to go take a shower really quick."

"Can I come?"

"I'm sorry Dani, I just need to be alone for a little while."

Daniel nodded sadly and took a few steps away from Corbyn.

"Okay, I'll start dinner then," Daniel explained. He walked over to the kitchen and began to make homemade meatballs for the spaghetti.

Corbyn walked upstairs and got the shower ready before getting in.

When dinner was ready, Corbyn was already done in the shower and downstairs. The couple sat at the table, there was an awkward silence between them.

Daniel reaches over and grabbed Corbyn's hand and squeezed it. He could tell Corbyn was upset and he just want to help him feel better. Corbyn didn't even look at Daniel, which made the younger boy even more upset. He pulled his hand away and looked down while he finished dinner.

After dinner, Corbyn quickly put his dish away then went up to their bedroom. Daniel sighed and cleaned up the kitchen before going upstairs to talk to his husband.

He walked into their room quietly and saw Corbyn laying underneath the covers.

"Corbyn?" Daniel asked gently. Corbyn didn't move, he stayed in his position facing away from the door. Daniel walked over to a Corbyn and rubbed his back. "Corbs, what's wrong bub?"

"Nothing Daniel," Corbyn said coldly. Daniel's eyes watered at his husband's tone, Corbyn had never been this neglecting towards him.

"Are you sure?"

"For gods sake, can you just leave me alone for 5 fucking minutes?!" Corbyn shouted. Daniel looked down and fought to hold back his tears.

"S-Sorry," Daniel mumbled. He quickly got up and left. He ran downstairs and laid down on the couch. He wrapped himself up in a cotton blanket and cried himself to sleep.

Corbyn laid in bed regretting what he had said to Daniel. He upset him, it was obvious by Daniel's tone. He never meant to hurt him. Corbyn thought it would be best if he gave Daniel some time to calm down before talking to him.

Before he knew it, it was already 1am. He was sure Daniel was asleep by now but he wanted to check on him. He made his way out of bed and downstairs. He saw the kitchen light on and Daniel passed out on the couch in the living room.

He slowly walked over to Daniel and sat beside his torso. He gently caressed his face. Although he was asleep, he looked upset, broken even. Corbyn frowned and a few tears filled his eyes.

"Dani baby, wake up my love," Corbyn said softly. He kept rubbing his cheek and kissing his forehead until the younger blond woke up. Daniel frowned a little bit when he saw Corbyn. "Hi baby."

Daniel kept looking down, he didn't want to look at Corbyn. "Daniel, please look at me."

Daniel hesitantly looked up, his eyes immediately filled with tears when he saw tears on Corbyn's cheeks. The younger of the pair sat up and faced Corbyn. He could barely make out Corbyn's face as the only light source was from the kitchen. "I'm so sorry for yelling at you, and I'm sorry for ignoring you and neglecting you. I had a really rough day at work, I just needed some time alone, stress free. I really hope you can forgive me," Corbyn said softly. Daniel smiled sadly and wiped the tears from Corbyn's eyes.

"I forgive you Corbs, but next time just tell me okay? I won't be mad if you need some space," Daniel explained. Corbyn nodded and smiled.

"I will Dani."

"Good."

Corbyn pulled the younger boy onto his lap so he was straddling him. Corbyn held Daniel's hips firmly. The two boys locked eyes and smiled widely.

"I love you baby, I always will," Corbyn whispered.

"I love you so much Corby."

Corbyn smiled before bringing Daniel into a passionate kiss. The kiss was slow and soft, they put their all into that kiss. They felt as though their partner would be taken away from them at any moment. They cherished this kiss with all they had in them.

When the pair slowly pulled away Daniel placed his head on Corbyn's shoulder.

"Are you ready for bed sweetie?" Corbyn asked. Daniel nodded with a yawn. Corbyn picked him up and began walking upstairs.

He laid Daniel down on the bed then got into bed beside him. The younger boy cuddled into Corbyn with a wide smile.

"Good night babe," Daniel whispered.

"Good night my love, have a good sleep," Corbyn replied. Daniel smiled then slowly fell asleep. He felt loved and secure, exactly what he needed.
