Third person
Christmas is Zach's favourite holiday. He loved the presents, food, snow, and family time. Everything about the holidays made him super happy. This year though, Zach hadn't had time to decorate his and Jack's shared apartment because of work. It made him really sad.
Zach fumbled with the keys in his hands as he searched for the apartment key. When he found it he placed it into the lock and unlocked the front door. He walked inside while taking out the key.
"Jack babe! I'm h-" Zach cut himself off when he looked up and saw the apartment. Everything was decorated for Christmas. There was a decorated Christmas tree, Christmas themed centre pieces, and many other decorations.
Zach smiled brightly as he looked around the apartment. Jack walked out of the bedroom and smiled when he saw Zach home.
"Hi love, how was work?" Jack asked as he hugged Zach and kissed his forehead.
"It was okay, but, what's all of this?" Zach asked, pulling away from the hug.
"I know how much you love Christmas, and I know that you're really upset about how we haven't had a chance to decorate. So, I decided to surprise you and decorate the apartment," Jack explained.
"You did all of this for me?" Zach asked quietly.
"Of course baby, I'd do anything for you," Jack said, taking Zach's hands into his. "Now, I made gingerbread cookies, let's go have some."
Jack took Zach over to the cookies and they began talking about their days.
The rest of the night was spent laughing, cuddling, and watching tv.
