A/N- I saw some of these ideas on Pinterest and was like 'oh nice,' so now I'm writing it. Side note- it's 7AM and I've not slept much in the past few days so excuse it if it's bad.

Summary- Bucky and Peter meet in the soul stone, and become friends.

-Third Person P.O.V-

Bucky and Sam were walking through the desolate land, every now and again they would stumble upon someone, but they never went near them.

That was until they saw a red and blue clad body sat on the ground.

"Isn't that the Spider-Kid that was with Stark?" Sam quips, a hint of humour in his voice.

Wordlessly Bucky nods, he was about to keep walking when Peter looked up and made eye contact with Bucky.

The first thing Bucky noticed was how young Peter was, his brown hair curled slightly and fell in front of him doe brown eyes. His face held so much innocence that Bucky couldn't help but remember when Steve was younger and before he had the serum.

Before Bucky knew what he was doing he was walking forwards and towards the boy, Sam was about to ask what he was doing but stayed silent for the moment.

Peter frowned, seeing the two of them moving towards him. He was confused, one moment he was with Mr Stark, then the next his senses were screaming at him, and Mr Stark looked really sad, and then he was here.

Peter pulled himself to his feet and sent them both a small smile.

"Hi Mr Bucky Barns, Winter solider, White wolf Sir. Hello Mr Sam Wilson, Falcon sir," Peter greeted, making sure to be polite, just like his aunt had taught him.

Bucky felt his heart melt slightly, like when you see a little puppy and want to protect it at all costs. It all felt very similar to him from when Steve was younger, and well, smaller. He silently cursed himself for fighting him before, and hoped he hadn't hurt the small spider boy.

Sam was just confused, he knew the kid was young when Stark recruited him, but Hell, this kid was more like a baby.

"You're Spider-Man, right?" Bucky asks, wanting to know the boys real name.

Peter nodded quickly while saying, "yep, I am. Although my name's Peter Parker sir."

Bucky couldn't help but smile a little at him while nodding, "it's nice to meet you Peter. Would you like to come with us?"

Sam sputtered beside him, wondering why he would want to take the kid along with them. He was a kid for Hell's sake, what use what he be. He kept silent for a moment though, knowing it might not be the best time to voice his opinion.

"If- if that's okay Mr Winter Sir," Peter whispers, keeping his eyes downcast, not wanting to offend one of them.

"Of course it is, and call me Bucky," Bucky replies, hoping the kid will call him that and not his other names.

Peter nods and moves beside him, "thank you Mr Bucky."

Throughout their time in the soul stone, Peter would follow along with the two of them. Bucky made sure to keep the kid close to him, not wanting him to get into any trouble and get hurt.

Finally, when Peter was laying on the floor, staring into the distance with Sam and Bucky a little a ways, Sam voiced his thoughts to Bucky.

"Bucky, why did you let him come along with us, I don't want to be stuck with him anymore," Sam complained.

Peter could hear what he said and couldn't help but feel a little sad at the words, he didn't want to annoy them. He was about to stand and leave when Bucky replied.

"Why Sam, because he is another little Steve, we can't leave him alone. He needs us with him," Bucky replies firmly, his eyes drifting to Peter.

"What the Hell does that mean?" Sam asked, confused as to how Steve, his best friend, super soldier, Captain Freaking America, was getting compared to this small child.

Bucky sighs before gesturing to Peter, "look at him. He's small, young, and seems to think the whole world rests on his shoulders. This is pre-serum Steve all over again, and if you think I'm going to let him leave and wonder about alone when we're here, then you're stupid."

Sam huffs slightly, but nods nonetheless. The kid is a good kid, he knows that, and now, knowing why Bucky wants him to be so close to them he guess it makes senses. Sam could tell the kid wanted to do good in the world, but God was he annoying at times.

"Fine, I guess you're right," Sam mumbles.

Peter stayed where he was, happy with what Bucky had said. He would be lying if he said he didn't look at Bucky as like a brother to him now. Maybe being here would be okay if they stayed with him.

Bucky seemed happy with it and rested his eyes back on the teen. He made a small promise silently to himself that he would keep protecting him and won't let anything happen to him as long as he was around.
