47 - Zach Herron ( Why Don't We )

She's way out of my league, and she's also one of my best friend's sisters. She's Jonah's sister, and I've liked her since I first met her. She's a singer, and she's a good one at that. So how did I wake up this morning with her laying on me. With our clothes scattered around the room. She's wearing my shirt, what did we get ourselves into. She slowly sits up and looks at me. " Zach? " She asks. She looks around at the room, and then back at me. " Oh God, " she mutters." No can know about this, " she whispers. I nod towards her. 

" Yeah, no one can know, " I tell her repeating it back to her. We had a lot of strict rules with her being on tour and everything. If anyone found out, she was get in trouble. And I would also get in trouble. But she would get into a lot more trouble than I would. 

And we kept it a secret, but from that day our relationship changed. Every now and then we would sleep together, when we just needed someone. There was a knock on my door, and I went to open it being greeted by Y/n. She's going to be using my guitar to record something for one of her new songs. She's about to come out with her 2 EP, which is pretty cool. It's called 'Lonely Hours', which I think is pretty sweet title. 

" So what's this song called? " I ask her chuckling. 

" Not In That Way, " she tells me, I can tell by her face that it's a sad song. 

" What's the song about? " I ask her, moving closer to her. 

" About confessing feelings, and the person I'm singing to is saying I love you, but not in that way, " she mutters. My facial expression changes, and she notices it. " What you surprised I'm about to come out with a really sad song? " She asks chuckling. 

" More like a relatable song, you know how many people will be able to relate to that? " I ask her, she slowly nods. 

" I'm just hoping people like it, " she comments. 

" They will, " I tell her, she smiles towards me. I leave her alone as she begins to play the song. She's an amazing singer, and her guitar is currently in the shop. And she would use Jonah's but he's currently in Utah with some of the others. I walked back into the room to her laying on the ground looking up at the ceiling. 

I lightly chuckle, and walk over to her laying down next to her. " Whatcha doing? " I ask her, she lightly chuckles as she continues looking at the ceiling. 

" Thinking, I'm trying to figure out this melody for this song. I've been trying to write since I was 15, and I can't figure it out, " she tells me. 

" Well, what do you want it to sound like? " I ask her, she looks over at me and we make eye contact. 

" Like you're falling in love with for the first time, " she tells me. I stare at her as she said that. " But you don't even know you're falling, you've known this person for so long. You've felt these feelings for so long, you didn't even realize you were in love. Because when you fell in love you didn't know what love was. And now, you're staring at that person, and you have... you have to act like-like you don't love them, " she adds. I lean towards her and kiss her, and she quickly kisses me back. I move so I'm hovering over her, and we continue on kissing each other. 

" What's the song going to be called? " I ask her as I start taking off her shirt. 

" I love you, " she whispers to me. I look into her eyes as she said it. I could tell a little part of her meant it to me. I lean in and kiss her again. 

I looked over at her as she started putting her clothes back on. " I love you, " I tell her, she looks at me in complete shock. 

" Don't say that to me, " she mutters. She gets up walking away from me.
