" Okay well hi Y/n, my name is Chris. You're going to be auditioning with Josh Herdman he is auditioning for Goyle, " Mr. Columbus tells me. I give him a nod. Josh and I say hello and we're given a script to reread. He said we can say what's the line if it's needed. Don't be shy to ask.
" Pureblood? " He asks.
" What? " I ask him confused.
" Are you a pureblood? " He asks.
" Um, no... I'm um, what do you call it when you have a parent who has magic and one who doesn't? " I ask him.
" Half blood, " he says annoyed.
" I'm a half blood, what exactly is a pureblood? " I ask him.
" Don't worry about it, why do you seem nervous? " He asks me.
" Well you know this is the furthest I've been away from my home. Plus I miss my animals and siblings, do you have any siblings? " I ask.
" No, well... we won't hang out. See you, " he comments.
" This school is going to be so weird, " I mutter.
Months later....
Dad's with me, the director and a few of the other casting directors wanted to talk to me about Harry Potter and the Philosophers's Stone, and I'm super duper nervous. I'm only 10, so this is pretty scary. " You nervous? " Dad asks me, I give him a nod. My dad is a famous actor, Jason Isaacs, he tries to stay out of the way when it comes to me auditioning because he wants me to be getting the role and not because I'm his daughter.
" What if it's bad news? " I ask him. He crouches down in front of me.
" It won't be bad news, I know it you're suppose to be playing Ebony Withers. And if not, then this isn't for you, " he comments. I give him a nod. He kisses my forehead, and pulls me into a hug. " Now you go, I'll be waiting outside, " he adds. I give him a nod. I walk in being greeted by many familiar faces and some new ones. I recognize Josh, the boy I did my audition with. I'm the only girl in the room, oh gosh I hope there's more girls.
" Y/n good to see you again, Alfred this is Y/n, Y/n this is Alfred, " Chris says.
" Hi, " he tells me.
" Hi, " I comment back, I'm so shy when it comes to meeting new people. Even people my age or around my age. " Who did you audition for? " I ask him.
" Dean, what about you? " He asks me.
" Ebony, " I comment back. He gives me a nod.
I spilt us up into groups, I am with Josh, this boy named Jamie, and this other boy named Tom. " Okay, so let's take a photo real quick, " Chris says. Josh grabs a hold of me.
" It's alright, " he comments. " Guys this is Y/n... she's a little shy, " he adds, whispering the second half.
" Hi I'm Jamie, " Jamie says.
" Tom, " Tom comments. I wave to both of them. Josh moves me and I am in between Josh and Tom.
" Okay, so are you guys confused? " Chris asks, we all nod. " Josh you'll be playing Goyle, Jamie you'll be playing Crabbe, Tom you'll be playing Draco, and Y/n you'll be playing Ebony, " he adds. All of us instantly started freaking out, and I started crying just a little bit. After I walked out with my dad waiting.
" Why are you crying? " He asks.
" I'm Ebony! " I scream excitedly, he immediately grabs a hold of me and swings me around.
